Default Tauti Launch Date Announced
Tauti Arrives on June 13, 2012!

We are happy to announce that the next major game update to Lineage II is almost here! On June 13, 2012, Goddess of Destruction: Tauti will launch on NCsoft West servers. Before the launch, a preview site will become available to give players an overview and insight on the exciting changes this game update brings. The patch notes will also be posted in the very near future, so stay tuned!

As this game update removes the Territory War system from the game, the dates of the final Territory War events for each server have been announced.

Please use this thread for questions regarding the Tauti launch date.

Thanks for the update, it is really really soon but the time frame is acceptable as you seems to skip the Public Test Server.

I still have some questions if you don't mind

1- Can you confirm there will not be a Public Test Server like previous update until High Five ?

2- If no, could you explain it by any luck ? Is it because of the schedule ? The hardware needed ? The time consumed for the Lineage II crew to host such a PTS ?

3- Would will be able to update our game before the 13th of June ? PTS was good to balance the update too, since some people would do the update before and get their client ready before the launch day, so the patch would be faster

4- If there are no PTS, do you plan to organize some GM leaded events upon Tauti launch ? I am not thinking about scripted event but something like a GM guided raid, a siege with GM or something like that

I hope you could answer me, I am waiting for your great job about patch note

PTS are the Korean servers...
They have PTS before any launch... after that, they implement the updates and correct any other issue not founded in PTS... with updates.
We get the new content allready "fixed" and then, we get the updates for the non fund errors an so on.... No need for PTS in NCsoft West...

Not saying that this is the correct action to take... or the best for NCsoft West players...just saying... they will not give us a PTS.... ever...

Anyway... thanks for the info Sace... very happy for this new update!

when you have russian exploiters awaiting to get the game in their hands a pts is needed to patch any holes that someone can find

Ah not for nothing, but how many of us got absolutely ****** by lack of a PTS for GOD and now there will be none again? Come on, taking a wrong skill/item/enchantment can cost billions and a lot of lost time, and you just expect us to blindly go along with that? What is the big deal to have a PTS for a week that gives everyone 99 and a few bil adena to test what we need to for our toons? I gotta tell you, this ****** me off and I'm not some freebie noob just sucking up the bandwith.

I could care less about GM led events or chaos week or anything else. I want to test the new items before some mistake happens that takes 2 or 3 months to undo or costs me a fortune. It's not like the patch notes are going to give us all the details we need to figure out this stuff, they never do. Eh, I'm ******* disgusted with your company right now.

Not really that excited, considering mage class will still be OP, classes like mine (archer class) regardless of how much time and effort I put in my 90+ archer I still get dominated occasionally by 86 mages...fix the ******* game!
