Too many failed login... how long is the wait?

Ok been tryna verify my accounts but forgot one of the passwords.

For the past hour and a half I've been getting the "too many failed login attempts, please try again in a few minnutes" message.

How long is this "few minutes" you got to wait for?

and how would that work when ncsoft's timer is on their side of things and restarting a router wont give a new ip?

I manage to log in!
I was forced to change pwd.
OK
I did all clean up of profile
Now I can't re-login :/

How long replication of pwd can take ?

I do not know exactly what the time limit is, but try to wait 30-45 minutes. It might reset each time you try again, so be sure you wait the full time limit before attempting again.

Errrrmmm
As I said mine 'new' pwd didn't work.
After 1 day of waiting for reset I went other path.

I have used option -> change pwd.
...
It redirect me to fancy page where I had to provide:
Secret questions + Apica .. tada!
10 second later new pwd comes from NC!
...
I try log in using that NEW pwd (using Ctrl+C -> Ctlr-V) ... and failed!
wtf?!

OK I know what have happen.
MY home IP is on block list.
They reset pwd ...let me change pass verification ... but then not let me log in

I've ask to remove my IP from 'black list' but so far help desk reset pwd

Anyone had same problem?
How you have solved it?

My younger brother is having the same problem, when we both created our accounts about 6 years ago he had to make up a date of birth to play (under 18) while I was able to use my real DOB; he stopped playing the game and now wishes to play again, but the account security asks for his b-day and he cannot remember what he entered. Too many failed logins and our IP has been blocked for about 4 days now (still saying too many failed logins.) He has contacted support over the phone and they have confirmed his day and month are correct, but will not supply him the year.

see what telling lies gets you...

They should not provide you with any info about the account (ie the "year" your brother entered in) - if that was the case then a "fishing game" would happen and there would be a huge amounts of problems.

I would suggest opening a ticket - posting on the forums really does not do any good since Sace/Moxie can not directly help with accounts.

You need take ticket to unblock IP.

Just clearly say you want unlock IP not account

Now my IP is 'free'
