I just became a dark elf assassin. I was wondering what skills are actually useful and what skills are not?

If this is your first time, you need to try everything out to find out what you like before your 2nd class change.

it really depends on your playstyle, and the situation. My advice for new daggers is to put your best stab F1, next target to F2, melee attack F3, and pickup F4.
Imho DE daggers make the best pullers with proper use of Hex/Lure. If you pull mobs with hex, they're 20% more vulnerable when they arrive at the group, good pre-pulling makes for constant action, while using Lure to pull will pull 1 single mob from a group of 5 while hex would have pulled all 5. Backstab is too expensive for pve, but essential in pvp, Bleed is also essential for pvp as it slows your target 20% so they cannot kite you. when fighting non aggro mobs, always run behind them, and stab them from behind, this will dramatically increase the land rate. Best Skills? endgame (79+) Focus Death. +90% crit damage, and +60% chance to half kill, when attacking from behind. |
