Did I make a mistake?

I'm a lvl 48 Paladin, but I'm starting to question whether this class was a good choice... Compared to Dark Avenger I suck at pvp, and my heal spells consume too much mp and take too long to cast to be considered effective. I'm also missing out on great skills like reflect damage. Did I choose a bad class, or does it get better with time?

I do not think this is a bad class. I've got a Paladin too. I will use it for a party tanking mostly, so it depend what type of playing do you want. Paladin is more like a passive hero(not only, but mostly).

In later levels the Paladin has the edge due its heals but with the super fast leveling it doesn't really matter which one you play.

No wonder you suck at PvP at lvl 48. How long did it take you to level there, 2 days?

At lvl 85, though, you will have Angelic Archon, while that DA won't.

The DA will have reflect damage(that can be enchanted) while paladin doesn't. (beter reflect than daring sonata)

Paladin kicks dark avenger ***, you just didn't got far in the game to see it..
