Some beginner questions

Hello together !
I´m a new player (Germany) in this game and so I have some questions. I have already read some threads to get a generel overview on how things are working in L2 but there are still open issues If some threads regarding my questions already exists please apologize...My character is a Gladiator (Human) and at the moment he is lvl 42 and directly after 2nd Jobchange.
So here are some of my questions
- are there quests I have to take care to not miss them or is that possible?
- any suggestions about making money at this level? I have only 1 million
do the players in L2 make their money with the main char or a farmer....?
- is it good to use the wolf for my pet or should I have also other ones?
- so I think a very painful question but where the hell can I buy Mana Potts?
- has anyone of you some links for useful threads like a schedule in L2?
- do I need a second class in parallel for playing? (for example a buffer or something...)
- I understand that it is safe to pimp weapons/armor safe to +4 but how to go on afterwards? Is it possible to destroy items or to make sure that this won´t happen?
- is it possible to receive information about the level of mobs/other players?
- is there a risk to develop my character wrong (skills)?
-if I go to Kamaokla in a gruop, is it possible to enter solo an do that (being in agroup but without other players)?
- other useful information I should know about playing L2?

So I say thanks in advance and I know this is a lot of stuff but I want to make sure that I´m not shocked one day because I made to many mistakes in playing my character.I would be happy about reply

quite lot of questions
well for buffer imo you dont need any if you find a mentor, you will have bufs from him until 86, and after i think until you can find a clan or cp,

there are no mana pots, but if i am correct you can buy some items that replesh mana each 5 minutes in glocery store or craft them, or just go to areas where drop mana herbs

wolf is quite helpfull until 85 and its considered *** + dmg but not the main DD,

dont forget to claim reward from web

for skills i cant tell you, never played duelist

on lvl 42 you can take quest 'How to stand up for yourself' or smt like that is called... (you start it where you've finished ur 2nd class transfer).. and on 50, 55, 60, etc... you can get quests (a ? mark will come up if u lvl up, and there you can see where to lvl). you can get these quest at adventurer's guide.

money... well, you dont really have to spend adena on anything since you can get items from 'Path to awakening' for free... and later you will have adena enough.
i make my money with my main char..

buffer... you can get iss enchanter buffs for free in towns (if nobody gives, you can buy it)

enchant: well, you can try with simple enchant afterwards, but there is a chance you break your weapon/armor with it... blessed enchants: if they fail, you drop your enchant back to +0, but it doesnt break.

information about mobs/players: well, about mobs you cant (on some websites maybe), on players: if you click them you can check what rank they have, and what clan they are in; but other things i really dunno or it doesnt come up in my mind..

skills: you learn the same skills as other gladiators (or i dont get what u mean)

kamaloka: i can think of dual box, but you enter with the other char too; it has to be in the right level... (i think better if you find a party, its not that hard these days)

The colour of the mobs names is the indicator of their level.
White, yellow and green mobs are around your current level (white is the exact same level range, yellow 3 levels above yours, green 3 levels behind yours), you don't have any xp/drop/damage penalty when hunting such mobs.
Bright pink mobs are much higher than you, you give them 30% less damage and receive 30% more damage from them, in addition for a drop/xp penalty.
Red mobs are a no-no, you can't receive xp from them at all.
Similar (but opposite) is the situation with light blue and deep blue mobs, they're extremely easy to hunt, but you receive far less xp/drops and the deep blue mobs don't give xp at all.

For players levels: when you click on them you can see the colour of the name of the clan. Yellow means they're below 76, blue means they're 76+ with 3rd class transfer quest done. (They should update this system IMHO >.>)

Thanks a lot to all of you. Yo gave me some valuable hints so far. So if you mean it is not necessary to "farm" money in the 40´s then I won´t. I will grind/quest on and see what happens The free rewards from the web are great! It´s a shame that weapons/armors are limited to 30 days (I think) but it is enough support for the beginning.
So I understabd that its not necessary to buy weapons/equipment because of the free reward. Given the fact that the time to use the stuff is limited, what would you say I should save my money for (weapon/amor)?
Or lets say are there sets which are waste of money?

Save your money for R grade stuff and some attribute stones/crystals. Or buy a Moirai/Vesper set with attributes if you feel like that and have enough money.
You should be able to hit 85 without making the free gear expire.

Another question, I have some problems with the "my teleport" function. Can anybody tell me pleas how I can make that work (sorry for all the questions!)

You can't, there should be some item in the store to make it work, but afaik there are no in-game provided means to use it.

Ok, just checked, there really is a pack of "scrolls" for the My Teleport function.

"My teleports" are available via nccoins/$. You have to purchase teleport book/scrolls from l2 store in order to use that function

I want to start playing with macros because it seems like they make everything easier. Do you have a collection of possible macros to create or a little explanation how to create them ?

There are Gatekeepers in every town to teleport in the various zones, My Teleports are merely a function to memorize some particular or hard-to-reach spots and teleport there accordingly.

It's safe to enchant all items to +3 (apart from top+bottom one piece armor but let's not confuse things). enchanting from +3 to +4 or higher has a 30% to 70% chance of breaking the item into worthless crystals, depending on the item.

I wouldn't enchant anything until you're in your mid to high 80s with gear, tons of spare adena and an actual need to OE stuff.
