Apparently some people like HD Oly fights, instead of the often low res L2 videos out there, as they're getting a good amount of views.

My 2 cents would be to get some ppl to record some of the more exciting match ups on the servers. The heavy hitters that go down to the last few moments or just intense action. I like the concept of what you're trying to do; however, a lot of those matches are pretty awful.

See, im not the only one thinking you guys have bad content.

Maybe if you guys EDITED or atleast PREVIEWED content before spamming it on youtube to earn a quick buck, that would be a bit better?

Yes, we get a couple of dollars out of it, but on the other hand it costs us hundreds of times more money to do it in the first place. This isn't a money making service, this is a community service. Though of course at some point it would be nice to cover more of the expenses than it does.

We only have one guy doing all the recording, editing and managing youtube as a part time service, so sure, it won't be top pro work. If you have specifics, then yes, we're making notes of your feedback and improving the channel as we go along. If you have specific matches you want featured, then please let KrustyVonBach know so he can do it. Just saying "it has to be good" is way too unspecific, as that in most cases is a matter of taste and perspective. You can also give feedback in this thread too, but please at least be respectful and constructive.

Well, any l2 player would be able to tell you if the footage was atleast decent.

Alot of those matches seem to just be random fights, posted unedited, and in some cases one wonders if anyone actually watched it prior to posting it.

At the moment it just looks like spam trying to make a buck. Sorry if that makes you sad.

80% of those fights are garbage. It doesn't take a genius to see that. One fight with Wynn vs. Healer the Wynn Summoner Reapers got wall bugged, then the summoner ran out of transfer pain range - but you uploaded that useless match to YouTube and wasted people's time.

In others the matches are clearly out of balance to the point of being useless (level 85/86 players probably logging in to get their matches).

You need to educate yourself on who the good Olympiad players are on the servers and watch the Olympiad manager so that you can catch decent fights that actually give people an idea of what balance is like in PvP.

Most of these fights are comprised of trash footage.

Watched one, the camera was awful, one of the two was quite obviously in his first PvP ever and the intro / countdown took up 1/3 of the total time... it was really pretty and sparkly though; nice to see L2 in HD, but really... I won't check the other fights knowing that most are the same boring stuff.

If you want to provide a community service you shouldn't post those noob fights just because someone mailed you... that someone is not the community. Take some time to pick the good ones and get rid of the intro-logo and maybe put it at the end, as it WILL get annoying after watching 10 or more fights.

Oh and practise camera work, it was really quite bad.

edit: I would love to watch some good Oly fights, you know, two evenly matched contestants and stuff, but not this :|
