Wynn ~Bow or Mage weapon

Hi everyone, lately I've seen more and more Wynn's using a bow with reapers rather than a mage weapon. Can someone explain to me the advantage of a Bow over mage weapon.
Also, im a dwarf in LA armor and have damage up on my apo bow because I was going to dual class an archer but i dont think im going to now, so im thinking of changing to TW robes and some people say to change SA to focus........any opinions on this?
Also, I have no tat's, just cant seem to come to terms with nerfing one to + another :P I do however have a +7 Shirt of Paagrio.

Well, reapers physical damage attacks are archer based, however it's wasted since your cougars do way more damage because of their crits. In addition to this, it's wasted on reapers since their nukes are more effective than their physical attacks.

I prefer my casting stick/sigil/robes with reapers over bow/LA, I get more done in PVP with nukes. If you want to use a bow, use your cougs they're way more effective with LA and bow.

I need to test out focus myself and see which does more damage over time (over dmg up).

I think it depends on your style of play.

I'm only pve and majority of the time use my cougars so I stick with light armor and bow.

Does haste transfir to the cougars?

And what about patk of the weapon?

Yes it works, you will get P.Atk from the weapon, Critical Rate from the focus SA and Attack speed from the Haste SA

okay ... so here is another situation for which I would need help.
So I am wynn 90
have staff with sa + element
have bow clean

what is worth upgrading ? continue adding element to staff ? or make sa + element on bow ?

I used more staff until now like :
staff for :
- soa daily
- soa solo
- k85, k90 group (till boss)
- k85 solo
bow :
- bosses only
- fairy from 90+

problem is that now most ppl are asking for +300 element for fortuna ... I don't think a +150 staff will be ok for fortuna ...

so I should give up upgrading the staff and stick to upgrading the bow ? (it will cost a lot of adena I don't have but still)


EDIT: since I used all my wind stones for staff, what element to put on the bow ? (im DE summoner)

bow +300 is a must imo, as u said u do rb's with cougars so u'll need bow, as well in fairy.
and in k90 solo or group bow + 300 is ok with reapers, especially if bow is 300 elem and staff only 150.
i never do k with staff, bow always , i use sometimes staff only for faster casting heal on pets. (i use heavy set)

Staff is a two handed -blunt.... two handed -blunt = more accuracy - less critical rate -less atk speed. now. servitor sharing dont share the accuracy so, two handed mage blunts don't works.

Magic Sword: well... magic sword are swords. this is one handed, so have more atk speed and more critikal rate because it is a sword. if u gonna use a mage weapon I think u should use sword than blunts if u are summoner

They going to add bonus p attack in weapon mastery if you equipe 2H Blunt mage. Noone knows how much this % of p attack will be.
Also correct me if wrong, i think blunt weapons oe get more p attack/ m attack than swords.

anyway ... this stats works very well in elfs. i dont know in dark elf or human. but swords works very well in elfs

Agreed. Sword look pretty good when they are stuck in elves. Especially from behind
