Default Magic Crit Rate

Hi guys,

I am looking for an official answer if anyone can provide regarding M.Crit Rate.

I read all arround the forums that the M.Crit Rate is caped at 32%.

Many people say that you don't need more than 320 M.Crit on PLAYER STATUS WINDOW, to reach the 32% Cap for max M.Crit Rate.

However the player status can have crit rate up to 500....

Does the 500 MCrit on player status represent the 32% M.CritRate Cap?
or 320 on player status represents the 32% M.CritRate?


Because...

if MCrit 500 = 32% Crit Rate
then 320 MCrit = 20.48% Crit Rate.

So whats the deal here?
We should have 320 or 500 Mcrit to get the 32% McritRate?

In the distant past, we could have reach 100% MCritRate.

In the not so distant past, Mcrit was capped to 50% (500 MCritRate).

In the present, the MCritRateCap of 500 is still intact, but there is also a nerf down to 32% "real cap".

To answer your question:
With 320 MCrit you will crit 32%
With 500 MCrit you will also crit 32%
-> so it makes sense to increase your MCrit Rate up to 320 (which is very easy), it does not make sense to increase it anymore beyond that.


Neutron has been asked a few times to check if there is any change to this nerf/cap in next update. But no answer yet.

So by what you say I understand that for offensive skills (nukes).....
every 10 MCrit reflects to 1% of crit rate, all the way until you reach 320 where its meaningless beyond that. - Correct?

So if the above is correct, is this example is applied???
200 MCrit represents 20% crit rate, and accordingly 253 MCrit represents 25.3% MCrit Rate? - Correct?



1. We know feohs will get some love in the next update, do we have any intel that the cap maybe is removed (or increased) on the "Grand Crusade" update? Have a 20% mcrit rate augment and I am really confused as if I should keep this or remove it now its a free augment removal period to try for some crit dmg instead

2. How about healling crit rate? Defenintelly some other model is applied on HEALS compared to offensive skills (nukes)... Heal crit rate is insaine compared to nuke crit rate. Heals utilize the 500 and nukes 320 or both 320 but heals has some probability multiplier that makes it insaine? How much crit rate the 320 represents on heals and how much on 500? Is heals capped?

omg dude, AnotherSorc just give you a nice and clear info about how it works and you still need confirmation for confirmation

Neutron said will test Mcrit Rate when they will have the test server availble, just be patient and read forum

as far as i know there is not a "cap" on the m.critical rate.
it's more likely static, and not affected by the m.critical stat..

there was a test on jujis lab where many ppl reach this same conclusion.

so it should be irrelevant having 1 or 500 m.crit rate, you will crit arround 32% always....
(in the other hands the tests only tested 1 or 2 skills (elental spike in the eu one and if i remember correctly one heal on the jujis one)
mb different skills ave different crit rates, like in the warriors skills, but if this is the case, i have no idea if m.critical rate stat does something).
