I haven't done it yet with any of mine...but I know you need to login using your full email account "whoever@whatever.com"

Just use email instead of login name, whats the problem? This error will only appear if you login with account name

You can actually write it from the keyboard... No idea on how you're not able to.

By the way, you can't copy-paste.

Right your login is now the email on the account, this is why you need separate email accounts for all your L2 accounts now.

Your password is the same for the game,forums and NC account now. I've done one account out of my three and can't say I enjoy it.

In the new system - you can't.

after migration log in using NOT your account name (old) but using your email address (used in new migrated account) as ID and your password.

Are we forced to migrate.. or can we keep this stuff as-is?

There has to be a separate email address for each L2 account. An NC Account can have only 1 Lineage II account (and one Aion account) on it.

You are not forced to migrate at this time. If/when migration becomes required in the future we will post about it.

Question:

I went to set up migration on this account, via the Create New NC account link and type in my Display Name as Bosephine, and it says it is already taken. So do I need to select the second option to merge game accounts into an existing NC account? I entered the email registered on my NC account and it said incorrect try again.

I'm guessing the Display Name is reserved by our forum names? Or did someone name their game account bosephine (mine is completely different, as it's supposed to be.)

Maybe you should change it to something that is closer to the truth?

Something like:
If you now have all of your Aion® and Lineage® II accounts gathered in one place, using a single email address, prepare to get screwed and forced to create multiple new email addresses to be able to maintain all of your accounts.

Sounds more suitable, and a better reflection of the reality, don't you think?

The underlined part I'm pretty sure is very true though....
Because all we need to happily keep playing L2 is, ofcourse, to be able to spend our money in "a snap".
