Get rid of Sel Mahum Bots

I'm a legit player, how the hell am I supposed to compete with these idiots that are botting sel mahum 24/7 making billions a day? Especially when I can't find a spot to farm for my few hours daily? These people are ruining the game for anyone who isn't botting. To anyone who reads this who is doing this, I have one question for you... Why? Congrats, you've cheated at a game of skill and strategy to win. What do you get out of that? You do it so you can pretend you have skill? You're garbage, ****.

GMs need to start banning these accounts daily, and linking them back to their main accounts and banning those as well. This is BS. I'm currently levelling a permared that will do nothing but go around sel and kill these bots, but that's not gonna do a lot to help, since they're back up and farming within minutes. Maybe GMs should do the same, take a toon out there, go red on one, and see who comes to kill you, ban them too. Clean up this **** game, it's about time. I've already conceded to the fact that I can't compete in this game and that there's no point in playing at the highest levels anymore. I can make up to about 100m a day max, and not every day. Now that I can't farm seeds on my iss, maybe even less. Each of these bots is probably pulling in **** near a billion a day with this event on, and all of the bots out there probably belong to 1 or 2 people, or clans. It's sick.

Billions a day? No. Even if they farmed 100k selmahum parts (I forget the quest name) thats 50 turn ins right? 50x2k? Its been awhile sense I've done the quest. Rewards -> EWS -> Fire Cry -> Adena? Even if they get 50 fire crystals (Impossible) thats 50x5 = 250m. Ontop of that they maybe are making another 50m in adena drops. So, being realistic they make 200m a day. Max. Obviously if they have 5 groups they MAYBE make 1b a day. Pushing it...

Why do they do it? Because adena = USD. I'm not sure how people are still confused on why people are botting. If there farming that spot, its for adena. There either gearing out a main, or selling the adena...not rocket science.

You missed the point where he talked about event...
Nectar can earn you quite some adena.

Yeah, but it wont earn you BILLION(s) the s symbolizes plural. I've made 5k nectar sense last tuesday. 5k x 100k = 500m. Prices dropped so fast that number is insanely high. But i sold 2k at 110k, prices down to 30k already. So lets average the number at 50k, they would have to farm 20k nectar for 1b. Not possible to farm that in ONE day. Sure, over the course of a week they may earn 2b. But Thats aiming high...

Permitted they open the squash and get lucky. Sure they COULD make billions, but we cant account for ncsofts luck. Some people will open 5k squash and get nothing. Some1 else will open 3 and get an Antharas.

Let us know when you get that perma finished If we can have specific groups to get together within the same time-zone we can kill these guys 24/7. It won't fix the problem... but it sure is fun!

Yeah, you're right. It's been a while since I grinded sel, so I inadvertantly X10'd my estimate on what someone could make in a day on the quest. Still, every spot has a bot running 24/7 unless someone kills it and clears it out for a while. I'm sure these bots are being run by only a few people, so a billion or even 2 a day isn't that much of a stretch if you consider multiple spots. I pulled in about 800 nectar and 11X quest handins in about 5 hours. That's 32m for the nectar @ 40k each, 3 fire cry = 18m, 1 ews = 4m, and maybe 4m worth of EAS sold back to the shop. About 60m for 5 hours all in all, works out to close to 300m in 24 hours for 1 spot. No one picks up adena out there, b/c the time spent picking up the adena is costing more than it's worth on the quest rewards.

I'm not at all confused at why people are botting out there. People want so badly to think that they're good at this game that they will resort to cheating to win. Either by buying adena or botting for it themselves. What I don't understand is what these players are getting out of it. Cheating is an automatic loss. From the first botted level or adena drop, every oly match/PVP/etc that you win from that point on means absolutely nothing. Even if no one else finds out, you still know.

I sometimes get these guys (bots) to flag on my summons , I dont know if its purposely or on accident but its sometimes tough to kill them cause they will heal themselves, polymorphy, and use celestial Aegis until they unflag and then they wont attack anymore ....tricky turds~

While they are at it...GC is full & hotsprings seems to be nicely full as well. Oh, and don't forget ToI and Wall of Argos. Also, I've noticed Altar of Evil and Swampland can get pretty bad with bots. Oh, and......yea....the list goes on and on.

Also, anyone on Chronos noticed the large amount of dark elf phantom summoners just running out of the middle town gate in Goddard? I soe'd back to town at one point this weekend and like 20 different summoners just kept running by. I'm assuming they were running out to hit guards and delevel because they'd be back in town like 30 seconds later and running back out again.

Well if you went into a city where the police let everyone cheat and steal then i would hazard a guess that they must be getting something out of it.
