Hi,
So i've tried to search, find, read and understand about sub. Found, i think, all the links to the quests and some other explanations, red them, understood them, but couldn't find a simple explanation about subclass as it follows: if i am main class A, what sub can i make and after that the same with the other 2. Also couldn't quite get it the part with the skills, don't know it i'll have all the skills from the new subclass when i'm playing with it and when i go to the main toon what skills will i have from the sub ( if i have ). If there is a link , thread with this then sorry, just couldn't find. Also i am a Necromancer - Soultaker - Feoh Wizard. And i want to know in this case what subclasses can i make ( all 3 of them ) and how the gameplay is in this situation, meaning what skils will i have on the main from the subclasses and if i play with one of the subclasses if i have other skills from main or the other 2 subclasses. Thanks. Enjoy the game |

If your main is a nuker then you cannot sub another nuker class...
So you can sub anything else you want but you cannot sub 2 of the same class type.. Sub skills are just passive skills you can select for attaining certains levels on your sub for your main class. You obviously didn't search very hard, hence the reason you have not gotten a reply yet. Take a look at this link.. http://wiki.terragamers.net/index.php?title=Sub_Class |

Thanks for the link but don't be too hasty with judging. If i didn't search it on THE NET it doesn't mean that i haven't done it where it should count ON THE L2 GOD FORUMS.
So, taking into consideration that only in players Q we have like 20k threads i think that from time to time it's ok to bring up to the light some OLD threads that have been discussed but maybe for some new or old players, that haven't been playing lately, are NEW. And i am one of these cases. That's why i kindly requested for someone to answer or to point me what i need to read about subclass. I'll try to look it up on the net more farmly or just play in the game and see what happens, although it seemed logic to have that subclass system explained clearly and in detail somewhere in these forums if not on the site with all the quests, options, what it means, limitations, etc. Enjoy playing L2. |

This may be hard and i may be wrong but here is what i know about subclasses.
Putting quests aside: 1)You cannot choose a subclass that awakens as the same class as your main. Basically you can't have main Bishop/cardinal and sub Elven elder since both become aeore Healer. 2)If you are Elf you can't take as subclaas classes that belong to dark elves and vice versa. Example an Elf can't become storm screamer or a Dark elf can't become an elemental summoner 3)Warsmith and Overlord classes AREN'T available for subclass at any situation. 4) Kamaels can choose subclass only from their own race. Meaning you can't choose a sub from other race and vice versa other races can't choose a Kamael class as sub. Those are the restrictions that i know in choosing subclass. As for benefits. At 65-70-75 you get a skill point to choose on a specific skill that increases a stat (attack power, Magic power, P.Def, M.def etc.). Those skills are available to ALL subclasses and main class. Also if you get a subclass to lvl 80 by doing a quest you can turn it in dual class and lvl it to 99. REMINDER. There is NO WAY at any possible time for your main awakend class to get skills of it's dual class. You just have the ability to play as 2 different styles though each is separated by the other (and instance timer count for both if you do them). That's all I currently know. If there is something wrong tell me to change it. |

And 80. In the near future, the dual class will provide more subclass certificates as you level it (at 85, 90, 95 and 99).
