Exclamation Account Migration Issue

Hi NCsoft,
I would like to let you know that there's a big issue with the account migration at the moment. Funny part is when I want to submit a ticket about this problem it sais that I have to migrate my account. Also I'm not the only one having this problem, a friend told me he had it so I went to check. What should I do now or what email should I contact?

i have the same problem also.

Tried Chrome,Mozilla and IE . also different emails as new usernames in case this was the problem but nothing . having the same error .

You can't petition if account is not migrated so you basically can't do anything !

im getting the same thing still There was a problem updating your account. Please try again later. If this problem persists, please contact Customer Support.
i have tried everything nothing will work plz help!

My wife is the same problem.
It will ask for a new email then send e mail then will say no account verified even after email will say it was.
This was done very badly by who ever made the program.

Now I know why they have no phone numbers as they would be deaf from complaints

They have this posted in their KB system.

Recent changes to the password system have updated the requirements for passwords to make them stronger.

The new requirements can often lead to you receiving an error that states:
"There was a problem updating your account. Please try again later. If this problem persists, please contact Customer Support."

The new requirements for passwords mean you may not use:
- A password you have used previously
- Common passwords like 'password'
- Passwords commonly used by many users (ex: lineage)

A friend of mine are having the same problem and as for myself i cant even login to start trying to update my account, it tells me:

"We were unable to verify your login. Either your login information was entered incorrectly, or the account system is currently unavailable. Please check the normal downtime schedule and announcements."

lol realy was told i didnt need to migrat alts no i cant login to them fail ncsoft again all yal need to rethink how to run this game so lets make it hard for ppl to get there toons even after we were told was no need to migrat them now you must migrat them lame.. just like lets make it hard for the botters =======bots dont care real players feel it more if i cant get my 2 accts fixed im done with all ncsoft games

Let's try use "Forgot your password?" option in the login screen and put your ingame account password as new password. My friend resolve the problem in this way gl to all

Had a same problem.
If you try migrate your acc first make new email the error is coming becouse you putting mail what is already used by onother acc or was used by the acc what you trying recover so try make totaly new mail.

Display name same thing if its some using it it will again give you error.
So first of all make new mail to that acc and you will be just fine the display name shouldnt be so hard. GL

I forget to add this kind can happend when you have 2 difrent account reged on same mail. It can happend that onother acc you will got blocked dont panic ask for help at suport they will fix it for you so maybe you will be needed onother new mail even for that one.

I have tried a new email and it changes nothing, but yeah maybe i regged 2 accounts on the same email 5 years agao and is forced to change the email of the other account aswell.
But that sounds a bit odd, since the other account works just fine to migrate, how to explain that?

Well y its odd I had same thing 2 accs on same mail one was already migrated few years ago. I got from mail for the none migrated acc from nc and I needed make new mail to be able migrate the one of the acc what was succefull and working fine what happend next is that the acc what already was migrated with the same mail got blocked :/ so now I am too waiting the respond. So I am trying to be patience what really dont work for me since its weekend.

I hope Cherry you will got everything fine.

I've got the same issue: I am not able to submit my Display Name, because that message pops out... and there's nothing I can do, because, with my account not yet updated, I can't use the customer support's ticket system.

If you have troble with display name its mean its allready been taken so choose onother one but I need warn you if you try lot of time it can give you a again error. Onother thing is what I experianced that the firefox give kind thing try use difrent provider like chrome. You dont need to be able to logging to acount for make ticket I saw some posted that link allready in onother topic try look for it.

Well guys i solve this doing...

First create a New Email and place it.
Second write a "Alias" but all in Mayus. for example if you was "BlueOcean" change it for "BLUEOCEAN". Thats All. Good luck :*

I lost 2 accts, both from like 2006, used fake names on both because I didnt want them traced to a passed banned acct, after several exchanged emails giving them every bit of info, wrong or right, I could think of, they gave me both back. TY. Give them all the info you could possible remember and be patient. Good luck all.
