Still on Othell Wind Rider:

What about Revelation Skills? Is Savage and Undying Will the way to go?

And Ability Points?

Savage + Undying or Hurricane shackle(putting 1 ability point on Berzerker's eagle gives LvL2 Hurricane shackle = 10% P.atk) + Undying. Savage skill you can get from 6+ elemental shirt and savage skill don't stack with the Wraith of Einhasad skill; so if you are getting 6+ shiny shirt then Hurricane + Undying is better I think. But if you just want pure PvE then savage + Hurricane. You can alternate savage skill and the Wraith of Einhasad skill(from 6+ elemental shirt) when either of them is on CD.

As for the Ability points, just go for SKill Critical damage. It will be nice to have both the normal attack Critical damage as well as the skill critical damage but I don't think you will have enough points and you get better skills below so...

(I noticed the mistake so I fixed)

When my dual was an Othell (switched during last red libre) I was +15 STR, +12 Bloody Duals with 15% CD Aug and I would regularly take (and hold) aggro from tanks/tyrrs/evis in Kama. Can't remember exact numbers but I was hitting 25k+ P.Attack.

Most daggers spam skills in PvE. And yes, while technically the stabs do more damage it isn't as much sustained DPS as simply hitting CW and then just auto attacking (assuming max p.attack/CD set up).

EDIT: Let me go ahead and add the disclaimer that this is on daily raids. If a regular mob is not resistant to half kills then the stab route is probably the way to go.
LOL, why then not do a Kavatari or another tyrr? It will do more dmg than dagger with this setup on auto attack..

Basically you are right about getting too much agro and then you cannot stay all the time behind your target. But still when you hit from behind with skill you hit hard equal to 10 - 20 normal critical hits or even more.

And now what I think - spoiler is the best dagger for PVE - hits from everywhere - no need to think where you should stand and give to whole party buff. Ask Criolic and socketka

Id like to see an comparison between that tbh, othell vs GK/Eviscerators in term of normal hitting.
GH have 70%, 60% and 30% damage boost from behind, (passive skill, active skill & heartbreaker).

With only 5+ cloak, lv. 4 ruby/opal & +10 dualdaggers, I make an easy 20-30k+ critical hits with my othell, no PVE set, no SoS and fancy shiet like that.
I doubt a eviscerator/GK with the same gear would outdamage me.
* Of course with a tank holding agression, else I have to hide away in some corner

Othell is insanely OP in PVE, anyone denying that never played one nor seen one in action I would say.

My comment was about what Rodah wrote - never use skills on othell just auto attack on full boost for criticals etc and don't care if you hit from behind - in this case Kavatari will be 100% better. Comparing evi and Kavatari - no point. Evi wins ONLY on steel mind but this has big cd..

Of course othell GH is better than anyone while hitting from behind and with skills (especially with AP and augmentation for Skill critical dmg). But yes, you still must be most of the time behind your enemy - that's why good party setup is always important.
