Question: How does p critical damage increase translate in terms of both skill and normal attack damage gain? Would be nice to see for instance the difference in crit damage coming from a +90 p crit damage hat compared to +3 str or +5% pattack.
Reason: Understand the damage increase in terms of % or total damage amount of p critical damage.
Items Tested: Critical Damage Hat, P. Atk 5% Hat, and STR +3 Hat
Player: Othell Rogue Level 99 with Heavenly Cocktail and Soulshots on
Weapon: Apocalypse Shaper
Results:
Normal Critical Attack without Hat - 1,989
Normal Critical Attack with Critical Damage Hat - 2,000
Normal Critical Attack with P. Atk Hat - 2,060
Normal Critical Attack with STR Hat - 2,036
Blood Stab Skill Attack without Hat - 9,282
Blood Stab Skill Attack with Critical Damage Hat - 9,352
Blood Stab Skill Attack with P. Atk Hat - 9,328
Blood Stab Skill Attack with STR Hat - 9,313

for hat need to test crt dmg not normal atk,and for the blows,also,p atk hat and str should apply for normal also but from you test seems they dont rly do....,or the diff its rly rly low

All the attacks were crits. One was normal and the other was skill.

Ok,then it doesnt count at all,no diff,since the dmg(crt dmg) is variable...

Pretty sure Juji can turn off that variable or in other words make damage static.

not to be a smart one but there are strength break points when reached they will increase the amount of damage you do, if I'm not wrong those are at 114 and 120 STR and when using a +3 STR hat to reach one of those it will give more damage then the %patt boost hat..

just saying ^^

and the fact I've had a clannie, yul archer, test it out months ago just after GoD was released and he saw significant damage increases at those numbers..

critical damage is more strong with epic jewels.. maybe that is when critical damage hat is better.. but w/o jewels is not the best gears set..

what about the m.crit rate? hats have both m.crit and p.crit. can u do the same test?

after small testing it seems that my feoh does almost 20% more damage with critical damage hat.

Hi Juji,
can you update this test for M-CRIT DAMAGE from that hat?
Description says it adds 68 MCRIT DMG if I recall correctly.

I am interested to see how much this actually is in %, as the MCRIT DMG increasing jewels all stat 10 - 15% and not a fixed value as this hat here.

I have done testing on the WH dummys and tried to compare this hat with my +10% Matk Hat, but I could not get a clear result...

Hello Juji
Can you do those test with:
Feoh and crit hat
Feoh and Matk Hat
Feoh and INT Hat

and the same with :
archer and crit dmg/rate Hat
archer and STR hat
archer and Patk Hat

Perhaps doing this with oed skills too can show the evolution of the damages depending on which HAT we use.

I always knew that Crit DMG hat were usefull for daggers comparing to previous one ^^

Wrong, +3 dex will give +1.5% skill critical rate - on top of more Evasion, accuracy, and attack speed.


+3 Dex > Crit Damage hat.

who counts attacks speed? i dont think i've seen under 1500 atk speed with normal buffs
and pretty sure he was sarcastic with that comment
