I was surprised to see that the thread about Ea got locked, shame on you Gm's, free speech is a must on any public forum. Not allowing a healthy conversation about a game reality that affects L2 players should never cross your minds. Taking care of what your customers feel about such systems should be a top priority as you have one implemented and it's causing a lot of discomfort. This whole "shut up and give us money" attitude is hurting the player, the game and ultimately it will hurt your company.

They just don't want to talk about it right now. With random reward purchases drawing the ire of local regulators and gaming commissions. Games like L2 and EA's offerings will soon be required to post information regarding rates, average return, and insure children aren't involved. L2 has needed the former for quite sometime. As they often secretly change rates and even posted rewards to lower item inflation will keeping whales spending hoards of money.

But EA is ****** if their focus group mass market games are rated M because their main revenue source is gambling. Their entire stock rise for years has been on the back of children purchased micro-transactions.
