Question About Raids

I went on a raid, an unsuccessful one, but fun. just a question, if like 30+ ppl go on a raid who gets the drops? withh the boss only drop 1 item? or does each person get something?

what were you and the others lvls when u went on this raid if you were below 40 the drops wouldnt be good enough to worry about. ive been on a few with my lvl 32 warrior and i didnt even want the drops.

For raids, the same rules apply. The party that did most dmg has the right to pick up first, and after some time others can pick up too. Thats why clan/alliance raids are better

Raids are fun, and that is enough reason to do them. They are also good practice for combat coordination you will need in seiges. Get Lucky Charms, so you won't drop gear. Be aware, if the Boss is light blue to any party member, drops will be reduced, and if the Boss is dark blue to anyone, no drops will occur.

if the boss is dark blue to anyone, that does anything involving /edit: except buffing or healing the boss

) the boss or people in combat with the boss, they will be silenced or petrified (uncurable).

The group that does the most damage gets first dibs on the loot. Usually anyone doing a raid keeps it within clan or ally, and loot is generally all worked out BEFORE hand. It would be dumb to do otherwise.

Isn't it that this triggers off of the one person who does the most damage? I haven't read the exact mouseover text in a while, but I believe that's what it says.

i tried to purify (knowing it wouldn't work, but was asked to cure) someone who had been petrified by a raid boss, for nuking it once - and i got silenced. man that lasted so long, i lost patience, and went to monster track to get it killed off,
