Gots a question for my fellow Hindemithians.

So...

I been a little bit fraps happy lately since I got my new MB and GFX card installed. Have an issue tho. I got 27 Gb of video, and it's only like 15 clips or so. Anyone wanna tell me how to lower the bytesize. I have one vid that is 4:58 long and is 6Gb in size. Seems a bit outrageous.

Thats what vegas, premiere and vdub are for. :P

but yeah, u need to render it, vegas is good to render, but dont use defaulth templates they arent made for the 1024x768 recordings,

VD virtua dub isnt that difficult but it doesnt let u do more thing besided rendering it..

takes a bit of time to get the hang of it..

Yeah, lots of trial and error to get the quality/file size ratio just right.

Thanks guys, I will have to check that stuff out. For now, I'm using Flash 8 Pro to make vids and export them to mpg format. Might look into that Vegas progam in a little bit.

Also, is 1024x 768 too big resolution for fraps? The detail is really nice in full screen mode on WMP, but I think it's makeing the files bigger by a lot.

Anyhoo lemme know what ya thinks guys.

i think its the best to record, lots of people play it fullscreen, it does make a large file, but so does it if u record smaller..

its still all copied directly to your hd..

I'm gonna try to have my first fraps tonite. It's just gonna be a little PvP against a battleship (boat protector

) I get him getting out while under attack. hehe.

P.S. Hate is pimp in PvP.

What's the best site to use for hosting vids? I'm trying MediaFire right now, but it seems like it's taking a god awful long time to upload.
