Overide button plz on login screen

Good day!!

I would like to suggest the implementation of an Override button on the login screen where you see all your toons. This button would change the delete of a character to 1 day or even prefereably just delete it right away if thats possible. with confirmation mesage (Yes/No).

I know in my case my account is full and i would like to create a new toon but need to delete one to make room, i dont want to wait 1 hole week before doing it. Just give us the option to remove a toon right away or with a 24 hour window.

no way that would make it way too easy for pkers imo they pains in [censored] as is no way do i want them making new names everyday with which to pk with and im sure that im not alone in this thinking

my reply to this suggestion (been suggested alot) was generally "NO noob plan ahead and delete the toon early"
unfortunately a few weeks ago i had to delete a toon to make space for a new academy alt and had to wait a week

48 hours is about as far as i would want to take it though

EDIT: lions beat me too it but why would a perma red care what their name is let alone want to lvl another character?

but on the original topic, i think the reasoning against being able to delete that fast is in case someone else gets access to your account, then 2 seconds later you lose your hero/nobless/lvl 70+ char etc... a grace period is needed i think, even if its just for those "ooops i forgot i left my maj set on that char im deleting" moments

Not sure how just yet but would this also benefit bot accounts. No delevelling on guards, just delete the alt and start another.

the delvling thing prolly wouldnt change
those guys delvl so they can stay in the same lvl range and odds are they enjoy having skills 10 lvls higher than the mobs they are hunting

no i was on about pkers pkers quickly lvl up a lvl 20 to 40 toon which can be done in 2 days if done right and then they pk all the newbies constantly mainly what they do is create a lvl 20 to 30 archer take the archer to a newbie town find a close group of lvl 0 to 20 newbies and wipe them out we are trying to help newbies come to the game and join us making the game richer by having more peeps to play with not get them hunting next to a white who then 1 or 2 shots them all and they dont just do it once or twice they constatly hang around untill a high lvler or two crops up then they log out or if the high lvler gets too close they force log but the scammer thing is annoying too scammers at the race track and all but yes like the other guy pointed out if you leave valuables on a toon your deleting gives you the chance to retrieve them and stops the peeps who accounts who get hacked from losing not only their stuff but their toons too
plus you never know you may piss your b/f-g/f off and hey presto they delete your entire account lol

The seven day wait limits (even if not-quite-effectively) the ability for name-spoofers and general scammers to ply their trade.

Also, when players delevel, they risk a death penalty. If people want to delevel, let them run that risk and pay that price (I've been keeping a toon at a certain level for specific spoils... I pay the price).

I have a toon that I am waiting to disappear so I can make a new one. A week is not that long a wait.

it's so you have enough time to get your account back if it gets hacked, so that the hacker doesnt delete the char along with getting all your gear.

Bad enough they can get at a subclass...

They probably should do something about that. :/

I heard of one incident where a subclass was restored by NC after being deleted. But I'm not sure if the real owner deleted it by accident themself or if it was an "intruder".
