i wanna sub a tyrant

I have to pick a subclass. I was thinking tyrant. I have a lvl60 pp and 64 se on a second account. i need to get the pp up to 66, but i can't do it with the dwarf. I know i can level the pp with an archer. If I have VR, will i be able to keep up with hp, so i can keep the pp in party.

yeah tyrants are pretty good at keepin up vr...besides you can always use ghp's to keep your health up and switch to the pp to spam battleheal if it gets hairy

kk i subbed a tyrant. what is the difference between the different totems the wolf and puma and whatever seem to do the same thing.

no, they dont.

Wolf: increases run speed and accuracy. good for your O *** skill to run.
Bear: increases Patk, decreases run speed.
Puma increases Atk speed. no negatives.
Ogre: increases Pdef and Mdef, lowers patk matk. useless.
rabbit: increases Evasion and runspeed. accuracy and Patk are decreased.
Bison: increases accuracy. when HP gets to 60% you get +200 crit rate and some patk. at 30% you get +400 crit rate (total now 440 before focus buffs) and more patk.
Hawk: increases accuracy crit rate (+100) and crit dmg.

contrary to popular belief i AM telling you the truth here.

Bison Spirit Totem:
At 60% or less HP - P.Atk. +43%, Accuracy +6, Critical +100
At 30% or less HP - Critical changes from +100 to +400.

Bear Spirit Totem:
Speed -30%
Only if Fists are equipped: P.Atk. +20%, Critical Damage +20%

Hawk Spirit Totem:
Only if a Fist weapon is equipped: Accuracy +6, Critical +100, Critical Damage +30%

Ogre Spirit Totem:
P.Def. +30%, M.Def. +30%, Evasion -9, Speed -30%

Wolf Spirit Totem:
Speed +20%, Accuracy +3

Rabbit Spirit Totem:
P.Atk. -30%, Evasion +12, Speed +30%, Accuracy -9

Puma Spirit Totem:
Only when Fists are equipped: Atk. Spd. +20%, Accuracy +6

thanks its so much harder figureing out what does what, when you start out at 40.

especially when the biggest choice is whether to use spoil festival, or spoil each mob individually

what would be a good tat set up

i was thinking +4 str -4 con. i have a healer with me, so im not worried about dying. just would like to soften the expense of ss and speed things up if i can.

also, what are good b and a grade fists. so i can start saving up.

there are 3 builds for the tyrant - the Haste, RSK haste, and Health.

Haste is for people who bot. it takes all the skill away from grinding and knowing what youre doing. i dont reccommend it.

RSK haste means youre always down below 60% hp, and this build generally provides faster Atk speed (faster kill speed below lvl 68).

Health is restricted to A graders+. what it does for you is essentially make it faster to drain your health down to 30% and at the same time have more HP at 30% for when you use skills like Zealot+bison.

i use RSK haste simply because i can. and i become a blur after 1400 atk speed.

Level 78 Grand Khavatari here. Leveled all the way with my warcryer. I mainly used bear totem until lvl 68, then the fun began. Bison totem is totally insane. Ive been soloing cata rooms since lvl 68. Dont use any other totem than bison. You tell me what if i get over 60% hp because i have over 450 crit rating and pwn too much? Dont get over 60% hp, its more effective that way. Spam punch of doom to overhit mobs and that way lose some hp. Now at 78, with dc light and dragon grinders SA health (cant afford S grade QQ), i heal wayy too much soloing a cata room lvl 78 and need to spam raging force AND punch of doom to lose more hp.

Oh and my warcryer has Soes with btb SA, so 30% bison starts at 2,7k hp for me. I can manage to always stay between 20% and 40% hp, easily. I also have +4 str - 4 con tatoo. Skills arent much dmg passed lvl 68 in pve, you rely on normal hits in bison, period I have a good + 12 and + 13 crit augment on fists, so not too far from 500 crit rating, which means almost 1/2 hit is a crit. I would think you don't want to -Dex as you want to evade those hits...

[/ QUOTE ] actually -dex doesnt hurt you noticeably for either pve or pvp as a tyrant (when you are the proper level [68+] )

so my vote is -dex because -con is ******edly ridiculous

Impossible, but a nice try. Max you can add with tattoos is +5 to a single stat. +4 STR, +4 DEX -8CON till you hit 68, then +4 STR +4 CON -8 DEX would be swell... ^^

[/ QUOTE ] my guess is he means +8STR -2dex -2con. this would imply +4 from tattoos (cumulative) and +4 from the PL set.

not very effective in pve sans vr. quite effective as assist-dd for just spamming blasters. thats a +30% skill crit boost.
