The Connection to the update server has been termi
The Connection to the update server has been terminated.
I get that error message whenever i try to start up l2..I Can however click the Start button really quick and go into the game but I can log in there :O I'm new and I dont know the maintenance times..but it said it was November 4th :O

Maintenance is every Tuesday at 4pm GMT for 2 hours, sometimes it's shorter though. Looks like you started right at the wrong time :P

I am having trouble logging in as well. The home page shows the servers are live but I keep getting the connection to the update server is terminated message. Anyone else?

This becomes tiresome....there are issues after about every second or third maintenance.

Not sure I understand your post. Every Tuesday at about 8:30 my time the servers go down for maintenance. This is nothing new. Lasts till about 10:30....again nothing new. The home page shows the servers live, hence would lead one to believe it is possible to log in. I am not, prompting this post.
Besides trying to make me look stupid and failing miserably, what was your point?

The maintenance that we had on November 4th was to adjust the servers to wintertime.

Well ok....I can accept that. What I cannot understand is having the servers show live without the login server being active. Perhaps I think too literally. Seems to me if the servers show live, you should be able to....I don't know.....log in? Ya think?

ffs rushed how from work to lvl, gets past update server part, enter my username/login, click ok, then nothing...
What's going on?

Me too.
Well....now I can get to the sign in page after the log in screen...but after that nothing. Sigh......

Indeed...if the game is going to be down for an extended period, please just tell us. Showing the servers live is frustrating to those of us trying to log in and play. We feel kind of like we are being lied to....

hmm, suppose u will feel like that very often the next couple of weeks. As long as the PTS is up and they want to work on bugs before CT1, the players that stay on live servers will have nice lags, dc's and what so ever, happening to me since PTS is up, fun to be paying for this
