A couple thaughts and questions

The next patch is entitled Gracia Final...does this mean it is our final official patch or the last large patch?

why did we switch to new forums...old ones seemed much nicer and more unique...this is the same as every other forum out there...

Im trying to craft some accessories for my toons and some to sell but since they put in the new system that requires a LOT of scales..i cant ever seem to get enough...is there a faster way to aquire the scales other then private buy shop and fishing? it takes a long time to get any where and you get more mats than scales when ya pop your catch...also you then have to trade them for the rec.s required to get the item.

Are the transforms worth it? since added i haven't even messed with them...

  • I personally believe there is one more big set of updates after Gracia. I'm sure I read somewhere that there's still a lot of content to come. Don't expect an NC reply.

  • Because they were badly coded and are over 5 years old. The software is no longer supported by the developers and vBulletin is a very clean and popular choice, not to mention powerful.

  • Gracia Final, and only if you meet some extremely high level demands... such as being among the best clan leaders on your server. I think they're going to be rewards for winning mass regional PvP battles. So basically, very few of us will ever own one.

  • Some are pretty good some aren't. I think they're just for show and to turn buffers into fighters. Nothing special IMO.

As far as getting scales the only 2 ways I know are like you said from fishing and buy shops, the amounts havent been increased they have remained the same but you're right you have to buy the recs from the fishing guild NPC and you do need a lot of them. Best bet is to fish at night in order to maximize the amount you get and use night fishing lure, which Im sure you know to do. As for the recs depending on what you want to craft most clan halls sell the recs to their members, Im sure that you can ask your friends that have clan halls to sell you some.

Transformations: some are pretty nice and others are for show but I do know that the higher ones give you some pretty usefull skills (heretic=heals) and so forth but its up to you if you want to spend the adena getting them because they can get very expensive. I know that the ole mahum one drops at FotD and it does sell for like 40mil. Also about the capes it would be really nice if we could get wear them however I dont really see that happening any time soon, but hey we never know..

Like he said, it is the last of the "Throne" expansion series, like Chronicle 5 was the last of the "Chronicle" update series. So after Gracia Final we will probably have another expansion like "Interlude" (maybe "Interlude 2"?), and then most likely another larger series, like the chronicles or thrones.

They were working on it, but then the development had to start all over again when many of the developers left. So I guess the answer is "maybe". They are at least thinking about it, which is better than nothing.

Gracia final just means it is the last of the gracia updates. Lin2 makes almost 1/2 of all NC's money from all their titles, with lin1 coming in only slightly behind it (COH/COV, Guild wars ect make up like 5% each)... in the US it is more even between the games, but in Korea Lin2 is like WoW here, everyone plays it, and if they don't, its because they still play Lin1... Lin2 will continue to be updated for many many years (at least in korea, and as long as they're updating it there and theres still enough people to support 2 or more servers here, it will continue to be updated here as well)

the rumor with lin3 is that it was nearly 1/2 completed when the developers got ****** and left, stealing the code as they left, so they're having to start over from scratch. Thats the rumor, Lin3 development has been kept pretty secret by NC, proably because lineage is by far their biggest title.

there was a news release a month or 4 ago that stated they had issues with some code getting out to another company (another source had said one of the devs was interviewing with another company and showed some of the code as part of his portfolio) the PlayNC news release said they were going to rework the code and planned to continue building L3. I think they stated an anticipated release date but I can't recall what it was and am too lazy to look it up.
