According to http://www2.elliebelly.net/index.php...iewtopic&t=684 Soulhound skills will have some new ehcnatment options... I know this is not official, but there are several questions I have that some1 may already have some idea on them...
Decisive combat description says that it increases power in pvp... How does Blink would react with a decisive combat enchant??? Soulstrike, shining edge and triple thurst.. cannot be Dark enchanted... but power and decisive combat... interesting to see the difference between doing more dmg on pvp or doin more dmg overall... we need to keep an eye on the dmg difference from 1 and the other... and for last... can Death mark be enchanted??? It's be interesting to enchant it either for Reuse/chance/time... don't you think? Cya laterz!! |

I've always see blink stuns for like 1 second (not even enought time to realize your own position after teleport ^^) but never noticed inflicted any damage... Still... re-use would be a better enchant, wouldn't it? XD cyaa

yes, blink does a bit of damage.
recommended to enchant death mark for chance, which you can already do. |

I can not wait for these possible enchant routes as well as the rest of the updated stuff to hit.
I wish I knew when! A bit of advice: Do not enchant until you get to at least lvl 81. Level owns all. Enchanting is an enigma inside a black hole wrapped around a question mark. Do we know for sure enchanting a skill actually works? Is enchanting just a cruel joke played by the devs on us? Why do I say this? At level 79, I decided to enchant like crazy. I deleveled and got alot of skills to +9. Supposedly next update, the cost of enchanting will be decreased significantly. I have 180 mill sp and counting. This included deathmark, SoP, AC, the matkc passive (abysall something) and a bunch of others that I can not remember right now. I figured +9 Deathmark would land on everyone. It seemed to have the same land rate as when I had it at zero enchants. It would land on the same people and the same people would resist it. That all changed as soon as I leveled. Resist the urge to enchant skills. Get your levels people. Trust me. Do not blow your hard earned SP and EXP. Oh , I got my Critical Sense to +9. LOL, it gave 1 point to crit rate for every other enchant. That is my advice when it come to skill enchants |

The only skill I was tempted to enchant was Rapier Mastery for attack speed. But it costs twice as much exp/sp as any other skill. So I decided to wait and get the new skills. Just wish Soul Vortex looked neater, hopefully Extinction will, because Soul Strike looks wicked.

I completely agree with Kronk. SB's are just friggin' wierd! I have +++Death Mark and the land rate increase is completely dwarfed by the increase I got by going 150dark on the Laevateinn. The Only two things I want to enchat like crazy before those dizzying levels is Checkmate for dark (+1 should be enough) and Pride.
I'm seeing crazy reports that it can be enchanted to boost physical and magical crit rate and power. I need to try this out, no matter what. If this is the case, it may already help us in more ways than it currently lists and could go someway to explain our current damage and crit rates (I skill crit way more than my 35 STR lets me believe I should, and my mage crits seem higher than I think 11 wit + Wild Magic 2 should allow). Also like I wrote before when I posted up the enchant list, the Dark Flame options (Dark weaken) look very interesting. Additionally they are also changing the way evasion works (again). I really wish I knew exactly how. Also the PvP enchant option also seems to be something to keep an eye on. A lot of our skills have this. Regards, Riot. |

Ok, here's a question for all bigger houndies around here ^^ I'm about to turn a Soulhound (after a year ^^) and when I finish my 3rd class quest I get a giants codex... is it correct? Now... If I was to enchant a skill... which would be the good way to go?...
My first choice would be enchanting Pride for Time (if that's possible)... or DeathMark for ReUse (if that's possible too) after all I read in this post, I wouldn't go for Chance on DM ^^... Please let me know what the best option would be, specially if it's not one of the two I mentioned. Have a nice day!! |

You can't do Pride at the moment. It's a CT3 addition. I wouldn't enchant anything at the moment since it will be far cheaper to do so after the update. The first thing I enchanted was Death Mark, but like Kronk says, the land rate difference isn't large enough to risk it now (you also have a higher chance of failure at 76), and +9 is like woah... So I wouldn't worry too much about enchants for a good while yet.
When Gracia Final does hit, the one thing that I would enchant without hesitation is Checkmate for Dark attribute. the Damage boost will be insane if you have the 150 dark weapon, and it's a sure thing. The others really require higher level ++ before you will see a really good improvement (if any). Of the other newer skill options, we simply don't know yet. Better to wait and see what other epople have to say about them. Unless you suddenly become an xp monster overnight! |

LordRiot is 100% correct. DO not waste your exp/sp right now. Knowing what I know now, I would hold off on enchanting anything until you hit 80. Once again, like LordRiot said, if you can not resist the urge to enchant, at least wait untill the next update. Enchant costs are supposedly going to be significantly less than they are now.
Serious though, get your levels man. Do not waste anything on your skills yet. Even if you +9 a Deathmark at lvl 76, the chance of it landing on anyone 77 and above is still pretty low. Just to give you some perspective, daggers claim their Lethal does not land very often. This is true if they are your level or lower. Even if they enchant their lethal (big boost to land rate), if they are under you in level , it will rarely land. Now, if they enchant it +1 and they are one level higher then you, from my experience it seems to land way too much. In Olympiad, when I was at lvl 79, I would get basically 2 shotted by daggers. I felt like a noob. But, they were higher level. Level > Enchanting. As soon as I hit 80, I have seen a huge decrease in Lethal land rate on myself. I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: GET YOUR LEVELS FIRST!!! I seriously wonder if the whole enchant route is a cruel joke played on us by the developers. Enchanting is just a gamble. Example, I hit a equal lvl toon fully buffed for about 800 to 1000 damage (non magic crit). Another thing that annoyed me at first was the cast time of SVE. My Stormscreamer buddies love their slug. They said the cast time on it is instant. So as soon as their vortex lands, if they hit slug it is and instant blast. Our SVE has a delay on it. It is definitely not instant, I have never timed it, but it feels like a 1.5 second cast. That is with +4 WIT tats. To be completely honest with you. I do not cast it right after my vortex. I keep my Vortex on the target. The debuff is alot more beneficial for my playstyle. Another thing I have not gotten around to doing is timing the Vortex Debuff Duration. I think it is maybe 20 seconds long in duration but not positive. I usually spam all my other nukes after I vortex before I hit SVE. Anyway, I should not really complain when it comes to our nuke animations. We have the best overall skill animations in game. Nothing tops Leopold. All it is missing is a nice little mushroom cloud. |
