I'm afraid my character can be banned for nothing

and the fact that all the four game accounts have been banned. I'm playing on this server and knew the players and I heard from them that the explanation was - as if the players tryed to sell their characters for real money.

I was really surprised that this could happen. I'm playing this game for a long time and riched something in the game. And now I'm really afraid that my character can be banned for nothing.

Just imagine the situation - I killed someone ingame (this is just a game) but the killed person wants a revenge but can't make it in game for some reason. The person can create an account on a lineage forum with the same nick like mine in game (You can find hundreds sites in the internet). Then he just posts an advertisment that the character is being selled.
Result -> my ban in game.

That is the fact - any person who don't like me can ban my character. Just think about it.

What are the proofs that exactly the person that plays in the game is trying to sell the character? I can anwer - you don't have any proofs. By the way - the advertisment can be just a joke, try to attract attention or even increase their post account.

I thought we are paying for the servise - we pay for playing on the servers.
That's why we have consumer rights and can defend in court. How is NCSoft is going to prove that the characters were selled? Do you have a bill or something?

This all doesn't make any sense for me. I hope any of the responsible persons or game masters will comment my post. And I really beleave the accounts will be reopened again.

NC can ban any account at any time for any reason.

Which also Implies: it doesn't matter if your legit or not You'll still be banned.
Also Another Implication: I'm a GM I can ban the whole server if I wanted to but instead I'm just going to toy around with peoples account
and they can't do nothing to stop me. (Not stating that I'm a GM. Basically Describing what a Human Gm with full authorization can do to anyones account at any given time)

Don't worry about being banned the catas right now as I type this are filled with tons of bots so I doubt they will ban you for doing nothing :P

Don't be afraid. Your acct and their accts are not related. You must know the recent events involving those accts.

This seems more like a thread of someone looking for another angle to get these accts unbanned (again).

One of them was hero, i saw him on Olympiad game just before ban.
Don't think he was botting on Olympiad stadium XD

If there's other explanation then plz tell us.
Cause i wondering If I should register my game nickname on that forum before it did someone who hate me

Those accts on that forum have many post. Someone would have had to register long ago as A11 and posted many time to many people over a long time period and pretended to be A11 all of that time.

OR

Someone would have had to of hacked all of their forum accts and their L2 accts (they had to know what levels skills were learned to and the exact gears that were on those chars) then posted on their forum accts.

I wouldn't think that the accts were banned for botting, I'd think that they were breaking the EULA by being sold this time.

Use common sense.

BTW character A11 wasn't banned.

And as for gangzta that list of equip wasn't true.

But look, for example: Tellos, he didn't post a lot, and his forum name has nothing to do with game. Only in info: ZuulZar, But i can do it too, anyone can do in info any nickname he want, and it doesn't mean it's true.
Let's test - u'll tell me ur ingame nick, i'll look at u ingame, lets say u r middle archer: Drac Bow Focus, Drac set, AQ, Tateo. I can guess. If we pvp i can say how much + ur stun or some skills. (If I played with u in one server i will eventually know ur subclass and other things)
And i will post in that forum with ur nickname in info and look if u will be banned.

U just don't understand that all this characters r really good known on Luna server.
It's not hard to know skills of such popular characters (i always get Seal of Suspension +13 from Zuulzar )), not hard to know their equip and lvl (cause they fraps a lot and u can see it in movie).
The fact they didn't even think they should keep silence about it!
From hero shout u can know everything, even who get jewelry from Epic boss. Cause it posted for all like: GZ Baikal with Frintezza Neckl. When hero enchant something (like +6 set or weapon +13) or skills (Like: GZ me with Stun +20), they brag about it in hero shout, why not?


P.s. All i want to know is the reason. Were they banned because of forum or not.

GM's (I think Spam) have said in the past that they will never take action against someone for anything said on 3rd party forums, since they can't identify who it is with certainty. It's come up with Blah in the past, where many people will openly admit to botting while including their char names in their sig. GM's won't act just on that type of information, they'd have to make the same admissions on official forums or get caught botting in game to be banned.

yes. you can be banned for nothing. no reason at all. will you get banned because someone pretends to be you on a game forum? i very much doubt it. this is all speculation but, there are two things that tip GMs off to account selling, neither of them is some random forums no one reads. the first is the location, if you play in seatle washington for 2 years then suddenly move to sydney australia, this will not in itself indicate a ban. also, if your payment method changes such that you have a different name attatched to your payment method, this by itself probably does not indicate a ban. its when you have both that it becomes probable. i imagine there are all kinds of ways the big fish use, to avoid being caught, but that doesnt mean they arent trying to catch the big fish. see, big fish wasnt born big. big fish is just a fish, that knows how not to get caught.

Don't you think GM's are smart enough to actually contact person on MSN and ask for price or more pictures of the character? Player have no idea what is in the other end of the screen and sends screens. As a result: Account status: Banned.

Btw I'm also reading goha.ru because it's quite informative site if you know what are you searching. In some cases ppl just post screens lol from it's self. It's the strongest proof you could ever ask. Good example is this where dude added tons of screenshots with it.

Another strong proof is their info about skill OE. Ofc you can post info about debuffs/stuns etc but there're a lot of other skills that only master of the account may know. All GM's have to do is just check if 90% of named skills are correctly OE'd. If yes: BANHAMER

I'm actually glad to see that GM's took that issue seriously and banned accounts. Members of goha.ru are enough stupid to post a lot of information that could be checked and account banned. I assume that you're owner of one account banned.

It looks like our game masters didn't see at those detales when they banned them.

Why should I prove that it is not me who posted this? Why should I be afraid that I can be banned forewer? Have you ever seen what NCSoft answers when you try to ask them something? this is like a wall: "You breaked EULA for ..., the ban is final and canot be reviewd ets. You can ask them 5-10 times - everytime the same robo answer. You just can't imagin how difficuld to explain them something.

Suppose I can prove that this is not my posts, that this is not me who have this acount on goha. Suppose I'll prove this. But how about the time that I was out of the game? In the game there are ppl that can greatly influence the game: ally leaders during sidges or oly farmers last week of a month. I'm sure 7 days timecard and excuses won't be a proper compensation for a week ban.
