Sorry but moving to another State is NOT AN A VALID EXCUSE FOR THE LACK OF MODERATION/WEB UPDATES/EVENTS.

As we all are tired of bot posts, we are also tired of new NCSoft staff coming to "fix" a problem and few weeks later fired or relocate to who knows where.

Also there is not need to create a thread about what players need, by now you should all know whats need, check the forum, all the answers are there already, dont be lazy and use the search function...

Start by giving some events to keep our troll warriors busy .

Oh c'mon, this entire post is FUNNY stuff! (in that cynical, you-have-to-be-kidding-me way--not haha funny)

Omega gives update & introduces new GM team member--community posts 30 whine/rants about bots.

Absolutely perfect! And so typical and predictable and inane as to be meaningless.

Enough with the whining about bots. There is absolutely nothing left to say. At this point the stupidest among us should understand they aren't really going away.
They suck, it's NCSoft's fault, we all hate them (though some of you bot hourly and pretend not to), nobody except me believe PLAYERS are at all responsible for botting...yada yada....

Okay.

So welcome to new folks, welcome back to the last new folks, and we are right where we were before--generally dissatisfied with the state of the game and participating in the most fragile and disgruntled forum community in MMO history overall.

Glad you joined and wish you all the best--and hoping you are a masochist at heart.

The problem comes to the forefront when you start to pvsp.

You go up against a botter. He is in the 80s you are in the mid 70s or even high 70s.

The botter has best armor and a few best weapons. You may have good armour and a good weapon.

You are more skilled cause you have actually played your character.

First he uses radar to find you.

Second he looks at your level equip hp, mp

Third he waits for you to attack mob

Once you are engaged he comes and gets first shot.

if you manage to get to him with mobs intow and start to do damage he switches on autopot.

You call for Brezz.

He camps corpse with radar on. If only one guy comes again he looks and decides if he should attack or go elsewhere.

If you don't get the Brezz you have to exp for hours to get lost exp back.

If by some miracle you manage to kill him...while he sleeps he gets the exp back.

This is a PvsP...where is the fun in that.

Also with the adena he makes he sells it to pay for his accounts and walker subscription....thereby making NC smile.

Everyone is happy..except for the legit..but **** him

A nice summary of trying to fight mobs. Which is why you see so much frustration coming out all the time about bots in the forum. Also why the official bot thread is ignored, because people feel it is just another way for NC to ignore the problem. I am sure the few people who are suppose to deal with the bots, are doing what they can with the restrictions and limitations placed upon them, but it is not enough. With this new move completed, I hope that there will be more feedback and more action taking place in game. Because as things are, when I do leave the game it won't be to another NC product. Having said that, I hope for the new staff, their stay won't be an unpleasant one and I wish you good luck.

Thank you DrTulp for the precise description of the problem that legit players have to face due to NCNA prominent game management.

Now, to add insult to injury:
you may have spent months to acquire your A or S grade gear while the cheaters are already sporting fully elemented S80/S84 armor and weapons.

For example, it took me a year to collect around 1 bil adena in order to upgrade my gear, but it went poof due to the whims of the Korean random (when you fail 7-8 S-grade crafts or attribute stones in a row you'll know what kind of fun it is).
At the same time, botters are bragging about making at least ONE BILLION A WEEK due to running their trains in certain spots in HB and IoP.

So, I'd like to hear what the newly introduced NC representatives think of it, and how exactly they intend to make the game actually competitive... or at least playable for legitimate players.

i was making 100m a day playing(live) 4 or 5 hours in HB.
on good day was like 200-300m a day.


is so easy to craft s80 atm.orichalcum is 5m in teon atm and admantine is 2m and since tiat is a instance any clan can kill it for vesper but if u dont have a clan that cant kill in HB or do tiat solo that is other story.

u dont need to ebay to get s80 especially atm where they reduced cost of set 75%

Just want to add my Welcome to Lyzira Looking forward to web updates! Don't really care about the style of the site, just want the info to be updated to include new stuff and be accurate >< Hopefully in a way that pulls the information from the game and not by hand which would be a lot less work and more accurate/up to date

Things that need top priority are Skills (waaayyyyy out of date), Recipes (not accurate which is a pain), Armors/Weapons including the color and level of Soul Crystals to add the SA's.

I also want to thank Omega. In the midst of all of the changes/challenges he has given us at least one event a month (one month 2!), good events mostly even considering the booboo's on a couple of events and with rewards that we have begged for like vitality in some form (well maybe not this squash event lol) but it shows he cares and is really trying hard to please. I also see efforts to reduce the bot population which is a monumental task. I wont elaborate because this isn't a bot thread lol but I hunt in catas on my spoilers and see a lot less bots lately. This is not nckorea with a lot of resources and a lot of people so we need to be patient.

Lineage2 is a beautiful game. It is complicated and has so many layers and in that keeps the interest of many people... even those who have left. It is really a shame that it has basically been abandoned by the company that runs it.

I'm not just referring to bots. I am referring to answering questions, fixing problems, treating their customers like they are important. When we get answers, have them be meaningful and not nebulous or dismissive.

For instance, I have turned in support tickets and been spoken to like a child, and had to answer back in an impolite way to get something taken care of, which it was eventually. Problems are reported here and in support tickets that are really never taken care of, brushed off with rhetoric and cavalier attitudes. This has to be turned around.

Already we have gone from 10 servers to 8, and those 8 have 1 server that is busy, the others are light ... and the seven need to be merged, really, much to the chagrin of the players on them. It is really not due to the content, which is rich and lots to explore. It is due to the neglect.

I am sure there are reasons for this, but it is really a travesty that a game this advanced and complex to be set aside and ignored by its caretakers. This is the reason for the emotions and cynicism expressed on this board.

You have your hands full with us, the few players left that continue to play. We'd like the quality of service to match the quality of the game.

I guess you weigh the importance of pretty graphics a lot heavier than I do.

There are lots of issues and without a developer team that we can actually communicate with, this will not change.

I mean, seriously. You can't even "back up" in this game. This is a "PvP game" with Crit Rate bonuses from attacking from behind, and Rogue classes, and you can't even back up?

There are so many gameplay, balance, translation, etc. issues that it's not even funny.

Quality of the total game is far below how good it looks. Most people don't even care about graphics past the first few weeks of playing a game. Gameplay, class balance, and Client/Server Quality are king in MMORPGs.

If the MODs don't like what I post I'll gladly accept my infraction.

I post criticisms because I am entitled to. I pay to access this forum, and I will continue to post criticisms about this game and their staff until either it ceases exist or I cease to play it.

I'm sorry you are content with mediocrity. Many of us, however, aren't.

So, you tell me: "Is it good gameplay, that the only way to get distance from an opponent, is to give them a Crit Rate bonus on you?"

Game play >>>> Graphics to me, and many others. Servers that do not allow me to XP/raid/play going on 6 days now is not a way to make me like the game. AWOL support staff is not a way to make me LOVE this game. Blatant and extreme class/skill imbalances doesn't make me want to play every aspect of this game. Etc. etc.? I can go on and on.

Coming here posting about keeping the "lines open" between the Developers and the "community (which is probably the worst aspect of this game, TBH)" just adds insult to injury. And then there are people like you, who think they live in my brain, and my heart beats in their chest (quite a biological feat, I might add)...

If I didn't care about this game, I wouldn't be shellin out $60/mo. to NCSoft. Then again, I'm at a crossroads right now. Stay tuned!

When this game actually delivers the goods that I, and many others, are seeking; then you can come here and try to chastise me/us.

Until then; sthu and gtho of the threads I post in, if you don't like reading what I post here.

Or Ignore me.

Otherwise, be happy that I'm not complaining about bots and farmers.

100M a day is not hard to make in Hellbound, with the attribute stone drops, among other things.

Someone farming IoP/Ketra or Varka recipes will not make that much.

It's all relative.

Some people do not have the means to level in HB often. Some people don't even play classes that are taken to HB enough to make factorable profits there.
