Labryinth of the Abyss

I have been reading about this as follows today...

Gracia Part 2 offers a variety of new challenges to players of all levels, including the Labyrinth of the Abyss, a new section of the Kamaloka hunting area. The Labyrinth of the Abyss is a multi-tiered cavern where players in a private party battle through monsters and bosses to earn valuable rewards and experience.

Entry NPC locations and required levels for Kamaloka – Labyrinth of the Abyss:
Gludio / Captain Bathis (levels 24-34)
Dion / Captain Lucas (levels 34-44)
Heine / Captain Gosta (levels 44-54)
Oren / Captain Mouen (levels 54-64)
Schuttgart / Captain Vishotsky (levels 64-74)
Rune / Captain Mathias (levels 73-85)




My question is "how do you get to it?. I have been doing Kamas now for the last 3 months, but for the life of me I have never seen any multi tiered caverns. Are the Kamas I have been doing what it is talking about? The way it reads makes it sound as though there is something else I have not had the opportunity to do yet.

I even have a thread from right here in the forum at this link talking about it and I don't ever recall doing a Kama that sounds like this. I have been through all the various levels rom 50 to 73.

The person in this thread is even talking about different rooms. Every Kama I have ever done is only the one room. This is sounding more like when I do a Rift through the Priest of Dawn, but it can't be.

For example: Kamaloka 78 is considered a "Labirynth". Not the common meaning tho. Just a few rooms conected to each other, holding two bosses and a bunch of mobs.

If you read the thread I linked in my previous post they are talking about a 69 one.

In any event the way its explained it is available at all the various levels. It says as much on the first page of the thread I linked by people doing it at much lower levels.

Again I have never been in a Kama with more than the one room with the one Boss and have never seen a Kama instanced zone that could be described as a multi tiered cavern.

Start a kama party on your own, when u choose to go in, there will be an option to go in to the one ending with a 9, those are the ones that are a bit tougher. Just dont surprise your party, if they had no intention of going into it. They can mostly not be done by a small party.

The 78 one however can be done by 3 ppl boxing 3 toons each, although its not a fun experience boxing it that way >.<

They are all like the 78 one i believe, instead of a single kama room they have conecting ones going upwards, considered as the hardest u can do at that lvl. Just like the 78 one u need a good party not a random party like is done for regular kamas.

What kind of rewards can you expect to get?

Do any of the Boss's level Crystals.

Not all of them can utilize a shadow dance BD to skip all the content other than the final boss.

heard that the last one drops drac bow so i guess its a good reward for something u can do each 24 h

You dont need shadow dance walk close the wall kill the 3rd room boss and the last one, the 1st one is pretty easy but the last one is very strong, focus on the healer minions, and you can get nice drops

They don't level crystals. Kama Laby 78 gives lots of S-Grade mats. Hence the drop of the prices. It drops EAS easily too. Sometimes EWS and more rarily BEAS.

Kama Laby 81 seems to have higher chances of dropping than 78, but it's basically the same things. But there you can hope for a full drop without being a daydreamer. Like S-Grade weapons or armor parts.

78 is holy and is dangerous because of the holy element. 81 is dark so it's less dangerous given all we've got against dark. But it's longer, you need good DDs.

So far i got 2 drac armors, drac bow, and few drac helmets from kama 78. From kama 81 i had IC helmet and BEWS. There was a period of time when full drops in kama were pretty often. But yes, recently rate of full drops was much decreased and realistically all you can expect now is EAS ><

None lvl crystals and rewards are suposed to be beter than regular kamas altough as falconek pointed out drop rate seems to have diminished considerably.

Well, normal kamalokas can't really be compared. The last one is lvl 73 and gives but a cluster of phoenix jewel parts...

We're doing the 81 one regularly, and got IC shield, Drac Helmet and Demon Splinters so far, but mostly only a pile of S mats and a EAS.
