Phoenix Knight Resist Cancel???

Hello ppl,

1st of all hello to all, this is my 1st post in official forum. I read often but never post again.
I play Phoenix Knight for some time now.
I have a misunderstanding with the resistance of my character to cancel attacks. How come when i have ToL on me + Angelic Icon i get my buffs canceled from DAs, SpS or dagger classes with pvp on weapon??
I mean ToL=increase 100% resist to cancel and AI=increase 40% resist to cancel or what??
I made a lot of test with my clan m8s and all time the same. I get my buffs canceled.
Is something not working ok? Or some bug??
Any one have any idea plz?? any GM a clue ??

It's working as intended. Resists function as percentage increses of your 'base' resists. It's not an absolute 100% resistance but a 100% increase of what you already have. I don't know what stat resists buff canceling (probably Men) but whatever it is, it's not huge.

For example let's say the number is 20% base resist. With ToL this will become 40%. I learned this the hard way when everyone told me that with Majestic I would be stunned lot less on a low Con class... Lol.

Well if im not wrong its 100% of your resist base, if your resist base is crap you will have crapx2.

I believe those individual buffs have a higher chance of resisting a cancel. Not all of your buffs have an increased resistance. Similar descriptions can be found on Ultimate Defense, Vengeance, and I believe Shield of Faith.

HellKnights have 3 CANCELS!!!! And he can use them more than once in Oly! That's.... ******ed!!! You try fighting without buffs vs DLM and come back to me ><
