Freya download?

An NCSoft employee said we could download the Freya update today to be ready for the patch tomorrow. I'm looking around on the site and on the loading screen for the game and don't see a link to update the game client. I'd rather not bother with getting the pts converting and converting back since ncsoft said we could just do a straight update today. Any word on this?

Nevermind, apparently the only way to do this today is getting the full 5 gig install for the game and there is no way to patch from retail client to freya update which would be a much smaller file.

I eventually found that. I was hoping for a patch and not another full game install but downloading it now.

So let me ask you guys something, I'm new here and I'm updating my client from gracia something (can't remember... Yeah I'm coming from those illegal servers... was off for a while now I'm starting again but on official aaannnddd that's for other thread... lol) and I'm confuse, I just restarted like a half hour a go, am I updating to Freya or Epilogue? @@

If you are updating it will take you to the gracia epilogue update. If you are getting a new exe of the game it should be the freya update. Tomorrow they do the update and then you could update to it.

can't believe, it's taking like now 20 hours to update... and it's about to finish (about 15% left...) I hope this freya update tomorrow won't take so long like it is now

I wouldn't update free client, because it might have something inside that can cause you ban later. I don't know for sure. Just delete whole "system" folder, to be safe

As to Freya. If you have Freya PTS, then you can "patch' your Live client to Freya right now. If you don't have PTS, you can wait till the evening, when Live Update server will start patching, or you can download PTS now, install and make it Live.

patch it with the pts to live file from the official site or just copy l2.exe from live over the pts folder and update??

not l2.exe (there is l2.bin actually), but lineage2.exe
and
pts to live file is the lineage2.exe from live client. so you are talking about same things

They turn off servers at 1 pm GMT. Estimated downtime is 7 hours.

The last few times, the update server was available a few hours before the game servers were up again. They did not post any time when the update server definitely will be up again, so just keep trying.

Take lineage2.exe from your currect Gracia Epilogue client and put to PTS client folder. It is your pts to live tool.
