That's the next big Lineage 2 update, CT 3 - Magmeld. More details will be revealed at the G-Star Game Festival in Busan on November 18. There is a considerable buzz about this:

Game looks the same to me, no graphical changes that I can see unless everyone still plays on low settings? Didn't even look like they were using the HDR or realistic shadow options in the trailer.

Still, can't wait to see more.

This update + highfive look like they will add alot of extra fun to L2, but with the recent server merges etc I hope when these updates finally do hit NA that there will be people online to play with.

I can’t really see these new updates however good they are bring back alot of people to the point they have to open a new server unless some drastic advertising is done.

I can only hope.

dude you cant even compare WoW to the lineage 2 we have right now, get a clue man -_-''

gameplay wise, let me know if you can start killin ppl outside of towns without hitting "hey let's duel, so we dont QQ" (altho theres people in WoW qqing over losing over duel lmaoo)

all theyre doing is making the graphics more real lookin than now by using a new engine (project G) or w.e its called

Aion? now thats like WoW with like Cartoon graphics tryin to fly around lmfao
uhh..Guild Wars? yea lets hire um some mercenaries to pve out of town

cant wait till how Lineage 2 will come out to be (if the population maintains minimal of average) i mean so far so good right

Its an update. From what i've heard it was originally L3 code, but it was stolen, so it is gunna be implemented into L2. Also known as Magmeld
