Because i want to use better that stuffs, i'm now lvl 50 TH, i don't know if i can lvl to 80 in 90 days, so if i'm wrong i'll open that chest only when i reach 61.

The below information is no longer accurate.

The expiration question is answered in the original post. As for how the items distribute into your inventory, it's going to sound a bit complicated, and that's why I didn't post about it before. Here's the breakdown:

• May 11, you find the Hero's Treasure Chest [90-day limited period] (1 item) in your private warehouse.
• Double-click on the Hero's Treasure Chest, and you will get Equipment Set Pack [90-day limited period] (1 item). It looks like a white pearl, or orb. The 90 days start counting down right now.
• Double-click on the equipment set pack, and it will find out what class you are, and produce another pearl-like item that will be called Mage Class Equipment Set [90-day limited period], or Rogue Class Equipment Set [90-day limited period], or whatever class type you are (still just 1 item in your inventory). (All of the class types are listed in the original post in bold, at the top of each full item list.) The 90 day timer on each of these has already been counting down since you first double-clicked on the Hero's Treasure Chest.
• Now, when you click on the class-specific equipment set pack, you will get many more items. There will be one pearl-like item for each set of armor, each set of jewelry, and for each type of weapon set. For example, if I'm a human mage, I'll see:
  1. Dark Crystal Robe of Fortune Set Pack [90-day limited period] (The 90 day timer has already been counting down since you first opened the chest.)
  2. Avadon Robe of Fortune Set Pack [90-day limited period]
  3. Karmian of Fortune Set Pack [90-day limited period]
  4. Mithril Tunic of Fortune Set Pack [90-day limited period]
  5. Major Arcana Robe of Fortune Set Pack (S-grade)
  6. Dynasty Tunic of Fortune Set Pack (S-grade)
  7. Magic Weapon of Fortune Set [90-day limited period]
  8. Majestic Set of Fortune [90-day limited period]
  9. Black Ore Set of Fortune [90-day limited period]
  10. Sealed Set of Fortune [90-day limited period]
  11. Elven Set of Fortune [90-day limited period]
  12. Tateossian Accessory of Fortune Pack (S-grade)
  13. Dynasty Accessory of Fortune Pack (S-grade)
• Each of those 13 things are a single item in your inventory. Remember, you will get a different number or items depending on what class you are (some versatile classes have two different kinds of armor sets, etc).
• Choose what grade you want to use now, double-click on that item, and you'll get the actual equippable items. When you double-click on the Weapons, you get the weapons of all grades at once.
• Store whatever you're not using in your warehouse.

As you can see, it's pretty complex. But once you get your Hero's Treasure Chest and open it up, it will all make sense. I recommend that a player have about 15 slots available in their warehouse, or inventory-- wherever they want to store the items they're not using.

I've just been informed that there have been some changes to the expiration timers on items inside the Hero's Treasure Chest. Don't worry, they're good changes!

Remember, the Hero's Treasure Chests will be delivered to your warehouse during tomorrow's maintenance! Be sure to read the update about the expiration timers before you open your chest!

well when you try to trash a item in your inventory the system try to cryztalize it, but when its not cry able mhhhh what than? oO

I liked the Updated Chest, but couldn't the Weapons be just like the armors/jewellery? As i understood i'll probably open the armors C and B without opening the Weapons pack cuz i want to enjoy the S ones, 76-80 is harder then 51-75.
But it's still cool the changes, i loved =D

The Hero's Treasure Chest does not contain any vitality items, just gear.

You know being that I've played for 7 years I shouldn't have to BUY 3 months of time to get the black cape. I see I was required to buy 3 months. Thanks for the snub NC, way to rake in profits. The way I read it on the anniv. page was that all players would get one,but ONLY if you buy 3 months of time, not for being having an active account which I had thought was the case. I don't know about some people here,but 3 months is A LOT of money especially when I have 3 accounts. After this much time I'd have thought every player should have got it regaurdless considering most of the items (vit stuff the exception) was junk. The capes at least offer some elements on them hence I liked them.

Veteran rewards should be implemented indeed.. only I know how it helped in AION... Veteran Rewards for OB players.. yeah.. 3month old. I wonder what I would get for a 7y old account..

I have better gear than the chests are going to give out so nothing of that is any use to me. If you have been playing 7 years you should be 80+ with at least decent gear especially if you only have one account. I have three and manage to save up...it takes awhile,but it can be done. I'm not asking for free time or top gear,but when I see I have BUY more in order to get a flippen pixel gift I'm a little chapped about it

I think that weapons should be separated by grade(each grade with own time).


A pj grade-D that opens the pack of dual-swords for example, maybe never use dual-sword S

hmm ye i kinda agree with u.
for veteran players there should be for example some head accesories or at least agathion but nothing more.
This hero box was made for new players which havent got adena to buy stuff. - like me

and i am seriously happy that i came back to this game and i have oportunity to get decent gear for free

I must use a weapon and armor, so decide to open up the D-grade armor set, which I can now use for 90 days. Besides that I open up the weaponchest, which gives me all weapons from D-grade up until S-grade sharing the same 90-day timer.
Now, say I level up to level 76 in these 90-days. At day 89 I ding level 76 and can finally use the S-grade armor chest. However, the S-grade weapon had the same 90-days timer as my D-grade weapon had, so it expires the next day, while I can use my armor for 90 days still.

This I also find a bit stupid that the weapons get their separate timers for each grade, while the weapons do not :<
Of course you don't have to spend money on the armor sets, so you can hopefully save up for a nice weapon on whatever alt/sub/char you use the chest on, but still it's really stupid to have all grades of weapons in one single chest while the armors are separated into chests for each grade...
And also, why give the S grade 90-day armors the ability to be elemented when they will dissapear in 90 days?
Noone in their right mind is gonna spend money on elementing them when you will loose that 90 days later (or less depending on when you element them).
