Default Problems with dagger

I know daggers have -3.75 acc but it seems like every time I use a skill it misses. Rapiers have -acc and so do bows and this never happens as much as it does with dagger. Auto attacks always hit but skills only hit 10% of the time if I'm lucky.

Not sure if this is still valid but
before GoD blows weren't affected by acc
just by things such as Focus Death, Focus Chance, etc

Alot of the dagger skills depend on where you are standing in relation to the mob. If your in front of it, your chance to hit is the least. Semi decent from the sides, but the position you will want to attack with a dagger is from behind. You still will miss occasionally, but daggers usually make up for misses with Half Kills. Those are ways sooo nice when you do a shot and it does about 250,000 damage to the mob .

i will say this an awakened dagger feels far superior then i ever did in any update post to c1-c2....i have never been happier to have my class , for once i can do damage... and take some hits without being 2 shot.

Honestly I don't know what you're talking about. You're probably one of those people who plays dagger with -9 STR. I've been playing lineage 2 for almost 7 years now and since c1 daggers have always been my favorite damage dealer class. No other class could one shot people. Only gladiators with TSS i guess. So how can you say, for once you can do damage and take some hits? Daggers don't need to take hits, they avoid hits, thats why you have UE etc. . Maybe after awakening they are much stronger than now, but that doesn't mean before they were bad. GH with full STR can destroy people from the back and who cares about CON when you have tanks and healers around you.


To get back on topic, blow land rate also varies on the level of the skill with the mob you're attacking. Usually from front your chances decreases but side and especially from the back, chances increase dramatically. Don't touch your STR, i suggest you even increase it for maximum skill crit dmg.

I'm a dagger too... And had this problems only with low lv.

If you are a low lv character, basically, you have low lv skills; and you're more weakier obviously.

You are having this problems just for now, cause the mobs are stronger than you. When you try to attack mobs with more lv, or if they have a strong resistance, you can miss it. With mages, this happens almost everytime when they wanna lvl up in other places.

I still miss it sometimes, cause now, i'm hunting at Oel Mahum camps, they have more lv than me, so I can miss it sometimes.

It's just this, it happens, just because it's a skill, doesn't mean that you can't miss it.

I'm a dagger too, AW for the precision, and sincerely, i never use blows in exp
I use mp only for hex, blows are for pvp IMHO! Dagger kill mobs so fast just hitting and dealing critical damange that i use skill only i it's extremely necessary in pve.

i am one of those daggers that have played for 7 years and i have played with my tats, but i found that no tats on lower levels are better. the change to skills as an awakened othello rogue are insane, i don't know if you have ever played on chronos pre update vs the likes of nova/enmity/fs and other players with +15 and +20something skills its very hard to survive hits from those player without having = enchanted skills and gear. i am **** good at my toon/ class and believe me i know how to play pre lvl 82 i gotta be honest dagger is a frustrating class to play, especially going up toons that are higher .. 85 was a huge change in power for daggers along in this world.. believe me i have tried many different things on my character stats and what not, i started playing the first few days of prelude. so ive done it, seen it and have litterally played every class and still have always gone back to my dagger.

well the stabs landing is not that good in th earlier lvls but it gets better after lvl 58 ... if you're AW :P

just don't be br and never take away your STR... i can tell you that much ... everything else is ninja secret
