Cannot get rid of negative rep.

Today I killed a purple player (name was flashing white/purple) and my name turned red. Now I cannot gain experience anymore and other players can kill me which means I lose 10%xp every time (which is a lot for me) and I cannot enter town to get buffs and supplies so I cant really kill monsters (and players are there too) but it would require me to kill 700+ monsters since it only removes 1 rep per time. How is anyone supposed to play like this?

Is it possible for a GM to fix this for me or is there nothing that can be done?

You're not the only one who has complained about the new PK system.

But if you're not high on the EXP% bar, you could just get ppl to kill you on purpose or have the guards kill you (not sure if that works anymore).

You won't delevel anymore, unless I read those patch notes wrong.

EDIT:
As far as I know, the GM cannot help with the PK system unless it is a bug or something. (Don't quote me on that.)

I am now on 63% and hiding.

I already tried guards and they kill me with 1 shot but it does not change my rep. unfortunately so I just don't know what to do.

As for the guards... I guess they patched that. I did that back in the day when I first played so... Sorry about that.

I've heard rumors of a PK cleanse quest or something though, anyone know anything about that?

kill mobs or make other character, and do not pk anymore if do not want to get trough this again, it`s the game pk system.

you MUST hunt yellow / Red mobs to clear karma - in fact as long as youre grouped and hitting a red mob, you get credit for the kill...

so try to find an AOE group, even in a high level area. you should clear karma pretty fast.

Thanks, but I've only played for 2 days so I don't really have any friends ingame and killing red mobs is out of the question for me since I don't have access to buffs and supplies anymore

And almost all hunting areas seem very populated so going there would be very risky wouldn't it?

So basically your saying to KS the mob on purpose? Just wondering if thats what you meant.

What level is your character?

no, i mean JOIN an AOE group, in an area with hard mobs, with high HP (high Hp also clears karma fast) and you will earn credit for kills if you can hit the mobs as they are pulled in.

It seems your level is < 43.

If that's the case, i'd suggest creating a new character, it'll be faster than clearing the negative Rep.

EDIT: Ah you posted that you are lvl 49 while i was writing this. Still, getting to lvl 49 isn't hard, so consider rerolling.

I've helped people regain rep while in party and being red. So you can be in party while chaotic.
You wont gain rep points (to go back to 0/white) by dying. Only way to get back to white is to gain XP (you won't actually get XP, but your rep points will increase), or to kill another red player (yet it can't be the same one again and again, they wont give any rep after a 2nd or 3rd kill).

For more information, please read the patch notes., or check other sources of information.

The mechanics shouldn't be apart of this game and should never have been employed due to this very reason for lowbies to be harassed for days after going chaotic. I know of others that have hit someone at the wrong time while they were flashing purple. Gimmie your ingame name and when I get online tonight I'll make sure nobody screws with you while you wash your karma off... NC can kiss my ***.
