VP dont give 200% exp!

before Maintance i was out of VP and got 130k on 1 mob.
Now after this Restart, i get on the same mob 169k!!

LoL pls fix it fast !

perhaps you leveled?
as far as i understand, there is an xp penalty related to your level.

blue mobs are less, and i think red mobs are less.

i can't confirm this, but it's something i've come to believe.

hmm on VP i read now only 200 points bonus to exp.
idk but i was think its 200% to exp.

If you drag your mouse over the VP bar on the character selection screen it will say 200% xp bonus


Edit: maybe you were using the 100% + 50% vit rune? and they expired after server went down

nop hes right, it now say 200 point bonus to exp. and its totally not 200%, i didnt level and the mobs on my sub in VoS were giving me 16k eysterday, now with VP they give like 30-33k. i might not be the best in maths, but thats totally not 200% lol. but w/e :P

it seems a tiney bit lower.
maybe compensation for no xp loss is lower xp?

maybe they're just smudging the xp around to make for a smoother experience system?

That is actually 200%.
VP doesnt add 200% to the normal xp (that would make it 300% xp) it doubles the amount of xp you earn

Same here. No VP, mob give with mentor buff 250k xp. With VP and mentor buff 330k xp. No 200% for sure. So i guess mob normaly give 80k, vitality add 80k more and mentor buff 160k? So without VP i get 80k +160k from buff? If so. then VP works like 100% not 200%.

mentor gives 200%, VP 200 points. but im sure, last time before server restart, ive got more xp with vp.. idk why..
and btw, no im not using rune xp or something, only mentor buff.

From website and description in game:
Mentor buff: Your acquired XP and SP is increased by 200%
Vitality: 200% Bonus XP is being applied

So ppl expect 400% xp when in fact its 300%, I wonder if NCsoft messed up the translation or if they simply forgot to double it.... lol

oh noes!

mentor buff is an increase of 200%.
so there must be a bad translation somewhere.
because if the translation was accurate, then the same being applied to mentor buff would be only receiving 10% of acquired xp.

which would make sense if you were actually overseeing your mentees as you should be.

its 200% from base... they are not multipliers ppl...


mob gives 100k exp.

200% = 100k exp extra

so vitality + mentor = 300% bonus

We are you questioning the translation.
200% xp Bonus usually means you get 200% xp as a bonus on top of the normal xp, right now you only get 100% xp bonus

Vit and mentor descriptions says +200% xp, thats a bad translation / Math they only add 100% each

So in the end :

Normal xp : 100%
Vit : 100%
Mentor : 100%

Yesterday before Maintenance

1 Golem Base 10k EXP
Nevit's Rune 100% Bonus (10k Bonus EXP)
+/- 20.000 EXP TOTAL

VP System kicked in 90 minutes before Maintenance start. It should give 200% Bonus EXP. It will still say 200% Applied or NOT Applied when you go over party members names in the party window.

1 Golem Base 10k EXP
Nevit's Rune 100% (10k Bonus EXP)
VP 200% (20k Bonus EXP)
It should give +/- 40.000 EXP TOTAL

However I got only 30.000 EXP TOTAL from each Golem. Basically I am missing 100% Bonus EXP at that time and I still am missing it.

Base EXP 100% you always get with or without Vitality.
1). When 100% Bonus EXP is considered 10k+(1*10k) (Works Perfectly with 100% Nevit's Rune)
2.) When 200% Bonus EXP should be considered 10k+(2*10k Bonus) (Not Working like 1st one) (VP)
3.) When 300% Bonus EXP should be considered 10k+(3*10k Bonus) (Not Working) (VP+100% Nevit's)
4.) When 400% Bonus EXP should be considered 10k+(4*10k Bonus) (Not Working) (VP+Mentor)
5.) When 500% Bonus EXP should be considered 10k+(5*10k Bonus) (Not Working) (VP+Mentor+100% Nevit's)
6.) When 550% Bonus EXP should be considered 10k+(5,5*10k Bonus) (Not Working) (VP+Mentor+100% Nevit's+50% EXP Charm)

1.) 1+1=2;
2.) 1*2=2;
3.) 1*3=3;
4.) 1*4=4;
5.) 1*5=5;
6.) 1*5,5=5,5.

Last 5 calculations it does not give your base stat as that extra fixed amount you always are getting. It gives Base stat * amount of %.
Example in my case it gave Base EXP 10k * 3 (300% Amount of EXP (NOT Bonus EXP)) = 30.000 EXP and it's not giving me Base 10k + 300% Bonus from Base 30k = 40k like the first calculation should give you it.

So Base EXP is considered 1*100% in last calculations

Either way 200% is considered double exp from base (so good translation is 100% Bonus)
Or it realy should give 200% and we are ripped off 100% from start of this Update or since one of the Maintenances last few weeks. So you tell me.

Unless I am making a mistake somewhere in my storyline, just let me know.

No you are right. As i said above. VP give 100% , no 200%.
Mob 100k
VP 100%= 100k more
Mentor Buff 200%=200k (it doubles the base xp , maybe someone mistaken and thought that its affected by VP too...)

So with VP i get 400k xp w/o i get 300k xp.
As you said. bad translation or bad NC VP application...

you can't translate math, its the same in English or Korean .. someone is just bad at math at NCwest.
