I don't think they using PC and Windows 98, wich strongly needs such care, but who know, last months looks like atleast Chronos was running on 486 or PentiumI Even soulshots not working ...

What I wanted to say is that the word "maintenance" is so vague you can apply both the hardware and software maintenances to the mysterious activity they do every Wednesday. Probably some magic rituals to keep customers too...

Applying updates (if any), and mainly checking petitions (bot/bugs) applying bans to the bots/rlt-ers. Eventually some backup before the applied updates and there you go... ~30-40 mins per server

LMAO...remember the Indians use to do "Raindances" in hope for rain for their crops....well L2 does same thing only hoping the server dont break down...they all sit in a big circle holding hands saying "OM" and "Poliwakka Ulnay", then get on their knees and bow to the old 386 ( single core) processor they having running the whole thing , then have a few beers, smokes a few blounts, tell a few jokes and laugh at us all b4 they bring the server back up

and yet you would be the first to cry if the server was down repeatedly due to all the crap that builds up over the weeks. The reason for maintenance is to keep the server health and running. 4 hours downtime won't hurt you.

How long do you think it takes to clean cages for hamsters on all 5 servers? Clean rubbish, give new wood saw, feed hamsters, oil wheels where hamsters run to power servers etc.
