Add more innovation to the game

Yeah well this isn't gonna happen its from 'dreamland' and i have said this in a conversation in game and i was told it is similar to another game, i think it was called 'Conan'. Not sure anyway moving on. Lineage itself is automated you double click on a mob to attack or simply press a key. Games are created to stimulate your brain, entertain, educate etc this game does nothing more than kill your eyesight and brain cells. Boring. how can u attract players who are just pressing keys and clicking a mouse for at least 2 hours of their day? on the launch of GOD i thought this will be near number one in MMO's perhaps better than 'wow' (never got into that) but i think i will look for a more stimulating game rather than one that is deprived by third party resources.

Anyhow you won't be able to get rid of these because obviously something is keeping the third parties inside of l2 not just players inside the game if i knew when botting started lets say 3 years ago and you think about the action taken wasn't it always banning? i am pretty sure that some more legal action could of been taken. On top of that it can't be a major threat; the Koreans would of thought up of an idea by now or someone should of at least for the sake of lineage2.

So my idea is to completely change lineage2 of course it won't happen with the expenses and may have already been mentioned by others. You can forget automated since that keeps the third party software alive. It will be like you giving a child some chocolate they want more later. That is botting and you are banning people for something you basically already are doing only in a more fundamental way that makes it legit since of course its your own.

This idea is a -1 but to resolve your third party software issues just make the game more innovative all you have to do is be able to pay for the expenses maybe make a new contract even change the name your choice but this l2 God doesn't sound like its going to smoothly. I have been reading threads about more and more people leaving.

Basically the key components to this are making each strike a consecutive one for skills you will have to time and aim each hit. Mixing combination moves Demonstrating a fixture of combinations during 'player vs player' to get you ahead of the game gaining more experience with better combinations gaining CP (Combination points) to purchase more inverse moves and desecrating the foes who appeal stronger than you i.e your a level 10 he is a level 13 - 14 and your enemy has focused more on his/her equipment and you have just went for the sake of your CP you somehow whip out a skill that you never knew how to do by just dragging and clicking over your screen. ( but the combination has to be learned to perform the move and yes the book will tell you how to do this but u need to make a system for it, all i can say.)

P.S This is a random thought that popped into my head and it is not in very constructive detail and also i would like to hear your feedback whether its good or bad or telling me its the worse idea you have ever seen.

this is all i'm going to write for now since its like a whole new Combat system for NCsoft it won't do it but a suggestion is a suggestion - even if it sounds stupid.

I'd like a new gameplay, something like GW2 where you need to be fast to evade mobs-players special attacks, not just click F1..F2 as in L2. Innovation would give new life to this game.

But I don't know if this old L2 engine would support something like we can see in GW2(very exciting gameplay).

Yeah GW is a great game to play but that was beyond what i was thinking. Lineage needs to have that little touch to the game where things aren't automated so with a Mage, Archer and a Knight u need to aim all your hits but no evasion duck and dive like that and then maybe add stuff later on to make everything piece together. but with the combinations u can turn them into an execution and deal much more damage than a normal combo so then it fluctuates the balance in the game and it takes away op in the overpowered and being able to combine your combos' whether they are old or new to create even more diverse or powerful combinations. But i agree on the game engine and the cost i have no idea but if there is a game closer to what i explained then i will join it right away

i guess i disagree. i like the system and gameplay of l2. thats why i play it.


dont wanna sound mean but every game has players that dont like the game. if the player doesnt like the game in general, he/she moves on to find the game he/she does like. the game doesnt completely change for that player because then it would no longer be that game.

in short: ur looking for a DIFFERENT game, not lineage 2.

maybe try Tera online or whatever its called. saw some vids and sounds like u were describing something like that :P

yeah i have heard of Tera but my suggestion was only to say lineage2(GOD) lacks on innovation and my idea in general was just a suggestion and every game company are looking for ways to improve services, game play and all i am doing is sharing my opinion aware that it won't happen but i only write this because i like to hope that it will. Since NC soft has a lot of improvements they can make but lack the resources or so i have heard.

Go play Guild Wars please. We play this game because we like it. You want to play Guild Wars because you like that. So play it instead of trying to change this one into Guild Wars.

It sounds like you' two are violating an NDA that could get you perma banned from ArenaNet

Back to topic. Lineage 2 is a super old game and you can't expect it to live up to newer games that have better game engines and servers to begin with. Look at L2 now with crowded servers and frequent crashes, clear signs of the game's age. Just enjoy the game for what it is rather than complain and beg for the impossible.

Umm have you even read my posts? anyway i am making good progress in 'Lineage2' and i cant get off it, even if i say i hate it. It is way too addictive to hate the game but like i have mentioned in one of my posts "its a suggestion" and at the moment i only wanted to hear your feedback on my post not about me and what other games are out there because at the moment i am not planning on moving even though that's going against what i have previously mentioned.

For those who think i am looking for a new game you are wrong. The first post is only to bring out new ideas and a suggestion on a new gameplay that takes away third party services. Not to tell me which game i should play because i simply came up with an idea i felt like expressing and i quote "i would like to hear your feedback whether its good or bad or telling me its the worse idea you have ever seen." If you still fail to understand anything i have said then all i can do is "lol" at your replies. So please give me your feedback about my first post whether its good or bad but don't compare my idea to games i have no interest in and never will even look up on.

P.S only 2 MMO'S i have played in my life world of Warcraft and lineage... guess which one i prefer?
