wynn dont need acumen for aoe tho..

i use 1-handed sword, sure not the best, but my "sub" is healer..

I use focus+damage on apo bow and acumen on apo caster, and it's good for me.
why acumen? because i can use the weapon on my Aeore

I use damage up on my Requiem Thrower but once I find a rare crystal I will add focus also.

M atk doesn't work for summoner as it works for mage, the benefit isn't that big.

Acumen work just for heal pets, is not like you will need it to cast marks. M. atk is useless, reapers need it just to do aoe.

I would use a Buster + Sigil > Retributer > Caster on a Summoner - Acumen SA.

1. Buster has 8 P.Crit instead of 4 like Blunt Weapons
2. Sigil has 5% M.Atk bonus which makes up for *some* of the difference between the Buster and Retributer (300 vs. 329 M.Atk on the weapons)
3. Buster has Fast Attack Speed. Retributer has Normal.

Both the Increased Crit and Casting Speed improve your pet's ranged physical attacks.

Acumen is useful because Summoners still use a lot of nukes with a casting speed. Invoke is their AoE and Mark of Fire is low reuse single target nuke. Mark Retrieval casts very fast but Acumen makes it fast though not as important for that skill (however, you will apply marks faster - they are not instant cast the way some people keep saying...). You'll also cast skills like Mana Sharing faster, as well as pets in the event you have to resummon. Your CC skills will cast faster as well.

Having higher M.Atk still increases the landrate of debuffs, landrate is still not totally dependent on 1 stat for offense and 1 for defense.

M.Atk (INT by extension) is still a very high priority stat for summoners. Stat juggling is one of the last things that actually takes thought in this game (for those who care that much about it, and don't just play "good enough" cookie cutter builds and deal with it).

Are you serius? You dont share that much cast. speed to your servitors, you share just 3% of your cast speed, so it's complete useless. Why you wanna sacriface your P. Atk? Servitors hit with P. Atk... Why you wanna be a nuke? Those mark just suck to do a huge mount of dmg, your servitors have more damage than you and they are 3. It doesnt have any sense to me.

xCleo what lvl is your summoner?

Every 88+ summoner knows p atk for pvp is bad, and magic setup is the only way to do burst damage. My marks do from 1k to 6k dmg, each on mcrit on pvp. Not counting the debuff DOT.

My Summoner is still 87, I got Twi robe and apo retributer, still getting twi light. If you said that best setup is magic setup after 88+ I still need to lvl my summoner to test both setups on pvp.

Im no saying is best after 88..im saying that at 88 you realized, that you're cripled if you wanna use P atk. Im 92, going 93 and reapers hit like sissys without magic. And cougars are easily avoided.

Don't like do what people say. These days I asked a wynn in soa why he was wearing full mage setup, he was wearing robe and retributer and he just said that a friend told him to use it.

Well im not telling you what to do, im telling p atk is bad at high lvl pvp and unifective in pve aoe.

For sure Summoners best PvP setup is Full mage setup.

The main is the summoner, not the summons.
Robes + retributer + wizard harmo + Reapers.
Only way to do significant damage on mass pvps.

I'd use retributer cuz it has more Patk/matk then a one hand. Casting and Atk speed doesnt matter. 3% is nothings to summons.

Or, if I would use a One hand, i'd use a Shield instead of Siegel.
Somehow, the shield is reducing a lot more the damage then before.

Use Heavy set unless they'll **** u like a *****
