Exclamation Glory Days Preliminary Patch Notes

The following are preliminary patch notes; they are planned changes to the game that will be tested for this update. Testing is not yet completed, so please understand that there may be some minor changes between these notes and the final patch notes, which will be posted on the official website on launch day (coming soon!).

Sigel Knight


New Skill:

  • True Vanguard: Increased damage to monsters by 50%, increased MP consumption for physical skills by 30%.
Changes to Skills:
  • Shield Charge: Cooldown is decreased from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
  • Last Judgment: Cooldown is decreased from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
  • Justice Punishment: Cooldown is decreased from 7 seconds to 5 seconds.
  • Gust Blade: Cooldown is increased from 7 seconds to 10 seconds.
  • Spike Shield:
    • Can now be used together with Iss Enchanter Sonata buffs.
    • The chance for magic damage reflect is the same at 50%.
    • Melee and magic damage reflect rate decreased according to skill level:
      • Level 1: 35% (before) to 10% (after)
      • Level 2: 40% (before) to 15% (after)
      • Level 3: 45% (before) to 20% (after)
      • Level 4: 50% (before) to 20% (after)
  • Rage Aura: A 10% P. Critical Rate effect has been added.

Tyrr Warrior


Changes to Skills:

  • Tyrr Warriors now automatically attack after using these skills:

Changes to Skills:

  • Shadow Dash Spd., Evasion, and HP Recovery are adjusted according to the skill level:
    • Level 1: Spd. 40, Evasion 10, and HP Recovery 10 (before) to Spd. 66, Evasion 4, and HP Recovery 10 (after)
    • Level 2: Spd. 40, Evasion 10, and HP Recovery 10 (before) to Spd. 66, Evasion 6, and HP Recovery 20 (after)
    • Level 3: Spd. 40, Evasion 10, and HP Recovery 10 (before) to Spd. 66, Evasion 8, and HP Recovery 30 (after)
    • Level 4: Spd. 40, Evasion 10, and HP Recovery 10 (before) to Spd. 66, Evasion 10, and HP Recovery 40 (after)
  • Evasive Counterstrike: Cooldown is reduced from 180 seconds to 150 seconds.

  • Superior Robe Mastery: M. Def. is increased by 300 when robes are equipped. An additional 20 M. Def. is gained per skill enchantment level.
  • Double Cast: while double casting, the following skills have been adjusted to be affected by the weapon’s item attribute:
    • Elemental Spike
    • Elemental Crash
    • Elemental Destruction
    • Elemental Blast
Iss Enchanter

New Skill:

  • Superior Sword/Blunt Weapon Mastery: When a dagger/blunt is equipped, P. Atk., M. Atk., and Atk. Spd. are increased. During an attack, there is a certain chance that the power and critical rate of a physical skill will be increased.
Changes to Skills:
  • Warrior’s Harmony: For 30 minutes, increases the selected party member’s P. Atk. by 35%, P. Critical Damage by 35%, P. Critical Rate by 100%, Atk. Spd. By 8%, M. Atk. by 16%, Casting Spd. by 8%, and Spd. by 8.
  • Wizard’s Harmony: For 30 minutes, increases the selected party member’s M. Atk. By 40%, M. Critical Rate by 100%, Casting Spd. by 8%, P. Atk. by 8%, Atk. Spd. by 8%, Speed by 8, M. Def. by 14%, and MP Recovery Bonus by 20%. Also decreases MP Consumption for magical skills by 15%, MP Consumption for physical skills by 5%, and skill cooldown by 20%.
  • Harmony and Sonata effects no longer stack with 3rd Class (pre-Awakened) buff effects.
  • The Lute Melody skills description has been changed to include clear explanation about enhanced effects.

Wynn Summoner

  • Servitors now inflict less damage on raid boss monsters.

Aeore Healer


New Skill:

  • Grand Inquisitor: Increased damage to monsters by 50%, increased MP consumption for magical skills by 30%.
Changes to Skills:
  • Mark of Lumi: Skill range is increased from 600 to 900.
  • Dark Veil: Skill no longer decreases aggression. Casting time is decreased. Skill range is increased from 600 to 900. Cooldown is decreased from 4 seconds to 2 seconds.
  • Dark Circle: Casting time is decreased. Skill range is increased from 600 to 900. Cooldown is decreased from 15 seconds to 6.7 seconds.
  • Dark Rain: Cooldown is decreased from 7 seconds to 6.7 seconds.
  • Dark Force: Casting time is decreased. Skill range is decreased from 600 to 400. Cooldown is increased from 4 seconds to 10 seconds.
  • Superior Armor Mastery: M. Def. is increased by 300 when light armor or robes are equipped. An additional 20 M. Def. is gained per skill enchantment level.

Changes to Skills

  • If an Awakened character equips armor made for its class, the armor's new Max HP increase applies:
    • Sigel Knight in heavy armor: 6,883 Max HP
    • Tyrr Warrior in heavy or light armor: 5,368 Max HP
    • Othell Rogue in light armor: 4,480 Max HP
    • Yul Archer in light armor: 4,783 Max HP
    • Feoh Wizard in robe armor: 4,447 Max HP
    • Wynn Summoner in light or robe armor: 4,151 Max HP
    • Iss Enchanter in heavy, light, or robe armor: 4,636 Max HP
    • Aeore Healer in light or robe armor: 4,299 Max HP
  • Some skill effects have changed for pre-Awakening classes:
    • Resurrection: Cooldown is no longer affected by skill effects.
    • Divine Punishment: Cooldown is increased from 1 second to 2 seconds.
    • Evasion: Cooldown is increased from 75 seconds to 150 seconds.
    • Counterattack: Cooldown is increased from 75 seconds to 150 seconds.
    • Day of Doom: Skill success rate is now affected by the target’s level.
    • Abyssal Power: Skill effect now applies when wearing light armor.
    • Expert Casting: Skill effect now applies when wearing light armor.
    • Robe Mastery: When enchanted with Magic Defense the effect now increased by 10 points per level, instead of by a 1% - 25 % by level.
    • Pride of Kamael: Can now only be used on self, and duration is increased from 3 minutes to 5 minutes.
  • A penalty of decreased Casting Spd. now applies to the following classes if a crossbow item is equipped:
    • Feoh Wizard
    • Wynn Summoner
    • Aeore Healer
  • Hide effects from skills are now canceled when gathering Energy Seeds and Star Stones.
  • Among the new augmentation skills that require an above R-grade Stone of Life, the following skill effects are changed as follows:
    • They are not affected by a re-use delay kind of effect.
    • The re-use time is the same between the main class and the Dual Class or Subclass.
    • The skills the above conditions affect are:
      • Item Skill – Warp:
        • Re-use delay: 24 seconds
        • Skill effect: Cancels the stun/target of nearby enemies and teleports to the front.
      • Item Skill – Dash:
        • Re-use delay: 90 seconds
        • Skill effect: For 10 seconds, increases Speed, P. Evasion, and HP Recovery Bonus.
      • Item Skill – Silence:
        • Re-use delay: 240 seconds
        • Skill effect: For 5 seconds, blocks the use of physical/magic skills.
      • Item Skill – Undying Will:
        • Re-use delay: 480 seconds
        • Skill effect: For 5 seconds, becomes invincible. Can be used when HP falls below 20%.
      • Item Skill – Reflect Damage Resistance:
        • Re-use delay: 4seconds (was 6 seconds before)
        • Skill effect: For 5 seconds, increases resistance to Reflect Damage.
      • Item Skill – Target Blocked:
        • Re-use delay: 480 seconds (was 20 seconds before)
        • Skill effect: For 5 seconds, makes yourself untargetable.
  • As it is no longer possible for a character to retain any 3rd class skills upon Awakening, all 3rd class skills that had been retained up until now have been removed from Awakened characters.
  • In order to improve the issue of where too many buff effects are concentrated in the abnormal status screen’s regular buff area, vitality related buffs and buff effects that do not affect the character’s abilities have been changed to appear in the active skill area.

Bug Fixes
  • Superior Weapon Mastery for Aeore Healer: M. Critical Rate is now correctly applied as 6% instead of +6.
  • The damage reflect effect for skills is now limited correctly according to the maximum damage reflect rule.
  • Essence buff skills obtained in Harnak Underground Ruins and the Survival Movement skill can now be applied together.
  • The description for the Aeore Healer’s Superior Anti Magic skill now includes the M. Def. value.
  • The Poison Zone skill effects are no longer delayed upon use.
  • The description for the cost-type enhanced Rebirth skill now correctly lists MP consumption instead of HP consumption.
  • The description for the cost-type enhanced Strong Will skill now correctly lists HP consumption instead of MP consumption.
  • The increased duration for the time-type enhanced Spirit of the Slayer skill now shows in the skill description.
  • Motion now displays correctly when the Arrow Rain skill was used by a Dual Class character.
  • The problem of the wrong skill explanation appearing when enchanting the Ultimate Body To Mind skill into a cost-type has been corrected.
  • The problem of the increased in duration not being explained when enchanting the Saha 6-Type buff as a “time” type has been corrected.
  • When enchanting the Shield Charge skill as a cost-type, the problem of MP consumption not decreasing has been corrected.
  • The problem of the +3 time type enchanted Polymorph skill’s explanation giving the wrong effect duration has been corrected.
  • When the Second Wind and Double Casting skills are enchanted as ___ types, the skill explanation giving the wrong duration has been corrected.
  • The skill explanation for Item Skill: Clarity level 3 mistakenly giving the skill effect as the MP consumption increase has been corrected.
  • Fixed the issue in which skills such as Increase Range and Sharpshooting would not apply when equipped with a weapon R-grade or higher.
  • Fixed the issue in which the casting bar would not display correctly for the first skill used since logging on.
  • Fixed the issue in which detailed stats for the effects would not display in the skill description for Dual – Light of Protection.
  • Fixed the incorrect usage requirements for the skill: Dual – Master’s Rage.
  • The issue of a character is killed while the Blessing of Noblesse effect is applied and the received buff skill sometimes being reset has been corrected.
  • Fixed a problem with the 4 attributes skill not being affected by the weapon item’s attribute while double casting.
  • Corrected the Poison Zone skill’s application rate setting.
  • Fixed a problem wherein the Whispering Death skill effect was being cancelled when using the Unbind skill.
  • Fixed a problem with decreased HP recovery magic power being displayed on the buff list when using Chain Galaxy.
  • Corrected the speed decrease value in the entangle-type enhanced Time Bomb skill explanation.
  • Fixed a problem where the increased duration was not being shown when the Spirit of Nabiarov skill is enhanced as a time type.
  • Added missing Item Skill designations to the following skills:
    • Item Skill – Warp
    • Item Skill – Dash
    • Item Skill - Undying Will
    • Item Skill – Silence
    • Item Skill - Target Blocked
  • Fixed the graphics issue in which a character would appear black when using the Harp Melody in a certain environment.
  • Fixed a problem where the P. Critical Rate would not increase when the Weapon Maintenance effect was applied with dual blunt weapons equipped.
  • Fixed a problem where the icon for the Contagion skill would appear inactive even when the conditions for its use had been satisfied.
  • Fixed a problem where the Resistance of Saha skill could be used at the same time as skills with similar effects.
  • Fixed a problem where PK count and Reputation scores would not be affected when killing characters with some skills.
  • Fixed a problem where a character would become Chaotic after killing another character with Reflect Damage:
    • A character that kills another character using Reflect Damage does not change status and stays a normal character. (Limited to instances where the enemy is not intentionally attacked).
    • A character that dies via Reflect Damage changes to purple.
  • Fixed a problem where a character would not become Chaotic after killing another character while receiving Reflect Damage.
  • The problem of the Talisman (R-grade) - Remove Debuff skill using an abnormal slot like a buff skill has been corrected.
  • The problem of the Dark Rain skill not being able to be registered and used as a macro has been corrected.
  • The problem where the Death Breath skill effect is not applied but the specific skill’s effect being marked as if it is in place has been changed.
  • The problem where the Ultimate Transfer Pain effect is applied but damage from some skills not being transferred to the servitor has been corrected.
  • The explanation for the Dark Devour skill, which is enchanted through the power route, has been corrected.
  • The problem where a Dual Class skill being displayed in the normal buff area of the abnormal status screen has been changed.
  • The Drum Melody - Heavenly Cocktail skill's explanation displaying the wrong Critical Rate increase value has been corrected.
  • Fixed the problem of the icons for Golden Lion, Thunder Hawk, and Unison of Lights not appearing in the Servitor Information window.
  • Fixed a problem where a pet’s skills and actions could not be used in a macro.
  • Fixed a problem where the Beast Soulshot and Blessed Beast Spiritshot items could not be used automatically when a pet is summoned.
  • Fixed a problem in which the servitor’s Pet Greater Heal skill effect would sometimes not be applied to the summoner.
  • Fixed a problem where pets and servitors could be used to turn other characters Chaotic.

Character and Game System Changes

Vitality


Vitality is now unique to each character and the class they are on. Every character on a game account, and every main class, Dual Class, or Subclass of that character will have its own dedicated Vitality points pool, weekly Vitality item count, and Vitality item re-use times.

Dual Class

  • Improved the Dual Class system.
  • As with the existing sub-class system, various benefits can now be obtained by developing a dual class.
    • A character can receive 1 ‘Certificate – Dual Class’ item with their main and dual classes at level 85, 90, 95, and 99 through the existing sub-class certifier Trandon.
The following skills can be acquired by using a ‘Certificate – Dual Class’ item:

    • When receiving over 1000 damage, a portion is recovered as HP according to chance. [Certificate 3]
  • Dual – Giant’s Chains
    • Block’s the target’s physical skills for 5 seconds. Can only be used on a PC. 100% success rate. Cooldown 10 minutes. [Certificate 4]
  • Dual – Giant’s Silence
    • Blocks the target’s magic skills for 5 second. Can only be used on a PC. 100% success rate. Cooldown 10 minutes. [Certificate 4]
  • Dual – Giant’s Yoke
    • For 5 seconds, reduces the speed of enemies near the target by 90%. Can only be used on a PC. 100% success rate. Cooldown 10 minutes. [Certificate 4]
  • Dual – Giant’s Shield
    • Increases reflect damage resistance by 100% for 30 seconds. Cooldown 10 minutes. [Certificate 4]
  • Dual class certificate skills can be reset through sub/dual class certifier Trandon.
  • Added a dual-class re-awakening system:
    • Dual class reawakening is possible through sub/dual class master Raina.
    • In order to reawaken, you need to pay a fee and have the class cloak that you received upon awakening.
  • When reawakening a dual class, your character is reset to level 85.
    • All skills are deleted and related 3rd class skills are obtained.
    • You receive a cloak for the reawakened class.
  • Added benefits for dual classes.
    • Added a new skill that can be learned when a character’s main and dual class are at the following levels.
  • Dual Maximum Body
    • Skill Level 1 - Max HP +463 (Main/Dual at Level 85)
    • Skill Level 2 - Max HP +972 (Main/Dual at Level 90)
    • Skill Level 3 - Max HP +1,458 (Main/Dual at Level 95)
    • Skill Level 4 - Max HP +1,926 (Main/Dual at Level 99)
Subclass
  • Kamael characters can now choose the Inspector class as their first sub-class.
  • Improved the Sub Class Certificate skills.
    • All previous Certificate skills are reset upon updating.

Mentor System

PK System
  • Changed the way the reputation score is lowered
    • Before: The reputation score for Chaotic/Normal characters decreases in proportion to their PK count
    • After: The reputation score for Chaotic/Normal characters decreases more sharply after their PK count reaches 4
    • Added an item destruction penalty
    • When a chaotic character with a PK count of 4 or higher dies, the item destruction penalty is applied including augmented items
    • From April 25th until the May 9th scheduled maintenance, chaotic characters with a PK count of 31 or higher will experience item destruction when dying.
    • After the May 9th scheduled maintenance, chaotic characters with a PK count of 4 or higher will be affected by the item destruction penalty when dying.
  • The item destruction penalty only applies to characters that die with a chaotic reputation and does not affect characters that die with a normal reputation.
  • The chance of item destruction and the number of items to be destroyed increases according to the PK count. A maximum of 5 items can be destroyed after a single death.
  • Added a method for increasing the reputation score
  • XP and SP can be acquired when the reputation is negative.
    • Reputation can be increased by hunting NPCs
  • Reputation can now be gained when dying
    • If there is no XP to lose when dying, the reputation does not increase
  • Reputation gained from XP or dying cannot increase the score above 0
  • With a reputation score of 0 or more, killing a chaotic character increases the reputation score.
  • The maximum reputation score is 500, and the character’s name color changes to green when this is reached.
  • The effects of a character with a positive reputation score PKing is as follows:

  • Added a daily ‘Repent Your Sins’ quest that can reduce the PK count.
  • The ‘Repent Your Sins’ quest can be obtained from Black Judges hiding around the south of Floran Village, Hardin’s Academy, and the Wasteland south door.
  • The quest can only be undertaken by a level 61 and above main class with a PK count of 1 or more.
  • You need 200 ‘Gemstone B’ items in order to obtain the quest item.
  • The ‘Repent Your Sins’ quest summons a ‘Sin Eater’ and involves acquiring XP and collecting ‘Penitence Powder’ that can be exchanged for the reward.
    • There is a limit of 10 ‘Penitence Powder’ items. If more than this is acquired, it will all be deleted during the reward step.
    • When receiving quest awards, the PK count will decrease by 1~3 randomly.
  • Added a ‘Reputation Penalty’ in order to discourage senseless PKing.
  • The Rep. penalty level changes proportionally to the PK count and number of negative reputation points.
  • Characters with a PK count of 3 or less can only receive a stage 1 XP unrecoverable penalty regardless of reputation score.
  • Characters with a PK count of 4 or higher receive a penalty in proportion to their reputation score and decreased P. Def. / M. Def. effects.
  • Reputation scores that had exceeded 500 will be adjusted to 500 and those below zero will be set to zero.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a problem that would sometimes cause a dual skill certificate learned by a main class to be deleted.
  • Mentors and Mentees will now retain the following skills when changing to main/dual/sub class, rather than having them eliminated:
    • Mentor’s Knight’s Harmony
    • Mentor’s Warrior’s Harmony
    • Mentor’s Wizard’s Harmony
    • Mentee’s Mentor Summon skill
  • Fixed a problem where some skills from a previous class would sometimes remain after reawakening as a dual class via sub/dual class master Raina.

Zones

Isle of Souls

Level 92-96 Solo/Party-type Hunting Area. Quest Zone.

An army of dwarves is engaged in battle with Mother Nornil’s Spiculas and the Golem Corps brought by Dr. Chaos.

  • The Isle of Souls has been reborn as a hunting ground for small parties comprising characters level 92~96.
  • New monsters have been introduced in place of the old ones.
  • Black Anvil Guild Golems and Dwarf Soldiers are engaged in battle with Spiculas at various places on the battlefield. If you kill a Spicula that a Golem is fighting, that Golem will temporarily become an ally and help you fight other monsters.
  • Sometimes a ‘Self-Destruction Golem’ appears near the character and uses a ‘Self-Destruction Skill’. When this happens, the allied Golem becomes an enemy. Nearby monsters are also effected and are rendered helpless.
  • The Spicula multiplying ‘inn’ continuously spawns monsters. At set times, allied soldiers and ‘Cannonball Golems’ appear near the ‘inn’. The ‘Cannonball Golem’ can be of great help when hunting monsters.
  • Added the moving raid boss ‘Gigantic Golem.’
Nornil’s Cave
Level 93-96 Party-type Hunting Area. Quest Zone.

A program to expel intruders has been initialized in accordance with super computer “Mother Nornil.” The living weapon Spicula Kamael are continuously working to expel intruders.

  • Nornil’s Cave has been reborn as a level 93~96 small party hunting zone.
  • New monsters have been introduced in place of the old ones.
  • You can use the ‘Nornil Moving Device’ to teleport inside the cave.
  • Alarms and a Spicula clone device ‘boss’ exist at various points in the cave. Upon being attacked or discovering the character, these cause additional monsters to be summoned.
  • There is a ‘Boss Central Device’ in the middle room of the cave. Level 93 and above characters in a party can enter the ‘Nornil’s Garden’ instance zone where raid boss ‘Spicula the Zero’ appears.
Nornil’s Garden
Level 93+ Raid Battle.

Spicula the Zero acts as a commander by controlling Spiculas and can be considered a living weapon at the service of Mother Nornil.

  • An instance dungeon accessible to parties (7 member parties recommended)
  • When progressing in a linear fashion, the raid boss ‘Spicula the Zero’ appears in the final room.
  • The instance zone is reset every day at 6:30.
Temple of Pagans
Level 98-99 Party-type Hunting Area. Quest Zone.

Shilen, awoken with the Seal of Disaster. In order to complete the Great Sacrifice, she has begun moving 4 demons of hell: Halisha, Malloc, Triol, and Bremmnon. Under orders from Shilen, Helan’s leader Triol has ordered his subordinates in the physical world (Andreas, Jacques Doom, etc.) to prepare for the “Great Sacrifice” and his own transfer to the material realm. Jacques Doom has started churning out bloodsucking insects while Andreas is producing pagans and spreading them into the heart of Rune.

  • Increased monsters’ levels to level 98-99
  • The ‘Pagan’s Key’ acquired from killing monsters can now be used to open all doors in the Temple of Pagans. (The original Anteroom Key, Chapel Key, and Key of Darkness can also be used.)
  • Increased raid boss Andreas Van Halter’s level to 99.
  • Raid boss Andreas Van Halter now spawns on the first floor of the altar.
  • All doors in the area of the altar where Andreas Van Halter spawns are now open.
Fairy Settlement
Level 88-94 Solo/Party-type Hunting Area. Quest Zone.

Kimerian and the fairies under his control have settled in Magmeld. However, the decaying darkness has been seeping in and the Cocoon Destroyer appears, spreading the curse of darkness and corrupting Kimerian and the fairies.

  • Lowered the level of monsters that spawn in the cocoon.
  • Raised the level of monsters that spawn in the Large Cocoon.
  • Increased the battle skills for Scout monsters.
  • When the Cocoon appears, the ‘Cocoon Destroyer’ may appear randomly. Upon killing the ‘Cocoon Destroyer’, the Wisp may also appear randomly to restore the character’s HP/MP and provide it with a buff that increases its P. Atk and M. Atk.
  • Increased the XP for raid boss Kimerian (normal and Epic).
Kartia’s Labyrinth

We have changed settings for the solo-type Kartia’s Labyrinth in the following ways:

  • It has become easier to use the location of the “Kartia Researcher” that appears in the Town of Aden.
  • If you kill the ‘Kartia Dimensional Watcher’ that spawns on the seventh level of the first floor of the solo-type Kartia’s Labyrinth, the ‘Life Plunderer’ monster appears.
  • When the ‘Life Plunderer’ monster’s HP drops below 10%, the ‘Boiling Blood’ buff is applied to the character.
  • While the ‘Boiling Blood’ buff is active, the character can resurrect at the spot of death and XP, HP, and MP can all be recovered completely.
  • The ‘Boiling Blood’ buff is only active while in the solo-type Kartia’s Labyrinth.
  • Reduced the HP for the ‘Kartia Dimensional Watchman’.
  • Reduced the HP for boss monsters Zellaka, Pelline, and Kalios.
Teredor

Made the following changes in regards to battling the boss ‘Teredor’:

  • Increased Teredor’s XP, SP, and rewards.
  • Decreased the number of ‘Elite Millipedes’ that Teredor summons.
  • Subordinate monsters no longer provide XP or SP.
  • The instance dungeon now resets if Teredor dies.
  • Lowered the minimum party size that can enter the instance from 7 players to 5 players.
  • Increased the time to complete the instance from 45 minutes to 60 minutes.
Guillotine Fortress
  • The 3-page setup for the Guillotine Fortress raid boss “Guillotine of Death” has been changed as follows:
    • The location where the “Guillotine of Death” begins to summon followers has been adjusted.
    • The rate of follower appearance has been adjusted lower.
  • The XP reward has been raised for the monster “Skull Dissect of Hellfire” that appears in the Guillotine Fortress.
  • The placement and individual numbers of monsters that appear in the Guillotine Fortress have been adjusted.
  • Duration has been changed to 30 minutes for the item “Proof of Survival” that can be acquired in the Guillotine Fortress.
  • The following Guillotine Fortress monsters have been changed to the undead.
    • Floating Spirit Hazkal
    • Rozenia's Command
    • Dual Butcher Kelvalla
    • Izad
  • You can no longer acquire the item “Proof of Survival” from the following monsters that appear in the Guillotine Fortress.

  • Changed the set-up for the boss battle of the raid boss “Guillotine of Death” in the Guillotine Fortress as follows:

  • Fixed a problem involving the boss appearing before the set re-appearance time.
  • The “Guillotine of Death” can now appear at day or night whenever the re-appearance time occurs (previously could only appear at night in the game).
  • Increased the chance of obtaining the ‘Proof of Survival’ item at Guillotine Fortress.
Tauti & Seed of Hellfire
  • The set-up for the Seed of Hellfire raid boss “Tauti” has been changed as follows:
    • The boss information has been added to Tauti’s target screen.
    • The duration has been increased for the “Tauti Ultra Whirlwind” and “Tauti Ultra Typhoon” skills.
    • Tauti can resist all abnormal statuses.
    • Changed the set-up for the boss battle of the raid boss “Tauti” in the Seed of Hellfire as follows:
    • The subordinate monster “Jahak” appears less frequently.
    • Decreased the power of the “Petra Injection – Enhance HP Recovery” skill used by the subordinate monster “Jahak”.
    • Decreased the use frequency of the skills “Tauti Ultra Whirlwind” and “Tauti Ultra Typhoon”.
    • Increased the duration of the skills “Tauti Ultra Whirlwind” and “Tauti Ultra Typhoon” has been increased.
    • If “Tauti" is defeated in a normal battle, the de-buff “Shilen's Breath” will now be applied.
  • The following skill type buffs that are used by the Seed of Hellfire monsters have been changed into debuffs.

Misc Changes
  • The difficulty level has been lowered in the following raids.

  • Some instance dungeons have been changed to delete faster when no character exists inside the dungeon.
  • Changes have been made so that equip and supply items cannot be used while teleporting through Sayune.
  • The Sayune icon not appearing when the main class is an awakened class, changing to a dual class or sub class, then moving to above Sayune, has been corrected.
  • Monsters that dropped herbs now also drop vitality herbs.
  • Changed the appearance of some NPC’s in the village.
  • The ‘Race Event’ is no longer active.
  • The client’s memory use has been improved efficiently, resolving the problem of intermittent decreases in client speed during long hours of hunting or large-scale raids.
  • Some of the videos that appear in the Prison of Darkness instant dungeon can now be manually stopped.
  • Increased the XP and SP rewards for hunting monsters in Nornil’s Cave.
  • Characters can no longer change to sub / dual class in instance zones created via the Dimensional Treasure Chest.

Castle Sieges


Changed the headquarters and advanced headquarters used for resurrection by clans participating in siege war as follows:

  • Greatly increased HP/P. Def./M. Def.

  • When a clan that is registered for multiple castle sieges wins a victory in a certain castle, the sieges for other castles are canceled and the clan can only participate in that castle’s siege warfare.
  • A clan that is occupying a castle cannot register for multiple sieges.
  • At locations other than the battleground, players registered as enemies when defending or besieging change to neutral.
    • If not present at the battlefield when a siege begins, the mark for besieging or defending is not shown.
  • The defending / besieging relationship is applied independently for each castle.
  • Temporary alliances are also applied independently for each castle.
  • For example, if many clans register for sieges of both castle A and castle B, then the registered clans can form a temporary alliance for the siege of both castles.
  • If a castle’s lord changes then alliances formed for the siege of A dissolve, but if the lord of castle B has not changed then alliances formed for that siege are maintained.
    • When clans have registered for the siege of both A and B castles, they become enemies for castle A when the castle lord changes but stay allied at castle B.
  • Increased HP/MP Recovery and resurrection rates for each castle.
  • Increased the maintenance costs for all castles.
Fortress Sieges
  • Increased HP/MP Recovery and resurrection rates for each fortress.
  • Increased the maintenance costs for all fortresses.
Ceremony of Chaos
  • You can no longer use skills to give advantages to other challengers in the arena.
  • When a character enters the arena, any skill enchantments they were receiving will now be deleted.
    • Premium skill enchantments purchased on the L2 store will also be deleted.
    • Vitality maintenance, recovery effects and debuffs are not included in the deleted skill enchantments.
  • Items that replenish CP/HP/MP can no longer be used inside the arena.
    • Recovery and enchantment buffs can be obtained from herbs via Herb Chests or as drops from Mysterious Guards.
  • Any summoned agathions are sealed upon entering the arena and agathions cannot be summoned again inside the arena.
  • The following items can no longer be used inside the arena:
    • Firework, Large Firework, Mystery Potion, Facelifting Potion, Dye Potion, Hair Style Change Potion, Fisherman’s Potion, Caravaner’s Remedy
  • CP/HP/MP can be recovered an additional time at the start of the match.
  • When characters in the match look at a specific character, they will now each see a different number for that character’s name.
    • Example: C -> A <- B – In this case, C sees A as Challenger 1 but B sees A as Challenger 2.

Clans

  • The “Clan Advent” skill has been changed so that it is not cancelled when you enter an instant dungeon other than the Olympiad stadium.
  • The “Clan Flag” skill has been changed so that it can only be learned in main class status.
  • The “Clan Flag” skill has been changed so that it can be shared between the main and sub classes.
Clan Wars
  • Following the changes to parts of clan warfare, all clan wars in progress have been reset.
  • Changed the conditions for the start of clan warfare as follows:
    • Before: Level 3 or higher clan with 15 or more clan members
    • After: Level 5 or higher clan with 15 or more clan members
  • Changed limits for declaring war on other clans
    • Before: Can declare war on up to 5 clans at the same time / no limit to receiving declarations
    • After: Can declare war on up to 30 clans at the same time / no limit to receiving declarations
  • Changed the conditions for starting clan battles
    • Before: Following a 3 day grace period after a one-sided declaration or upon mutual declaration of war
    • After: when 5 members of the clan that declared war are killed by the other clan or upon mutual declaration of war
  • A clan that has had war declared on it can check the clan war status in the [War Info] section to see the number of PK’s and time to withdraw before war starts.
  • Changed the conditions for ending clan war
    • Before: 3 weeks after war begins or 1 week after war begins if the enemy clan admits defeat
    • After: If the declaration is not answered within one week or if the declaration is withdrawn
  • If a declaration is withdrawn, the clan will now lose 5,000 clan points.

Clan Halls
  • Added new teleport routes from all auctionable and siegable clan halls.
  • Added a clan cloak that can be used by members who occupy auctionable or siegable clan halls to the production item list.
  • You can now register clan marks to your clan cloak.
    • When a clan mark is registered, it automatically appears on the clan cloak.
    • Registered clan marks should be 256X256 pixels in size in 24bit/32bit TGA or BMP format.
    • If no clan mark is registered, a basic color will appear instead.
    • Added a new kind of production item to each clan hall (1 purchasable each hour)

    • Using the messenger NPC near the clan hall
  • The clan that kills ‘Bloody Lord Nurka’ the quickest gets the right access the clan hall.
  • Clans that can participate in the clan hall siege are notified of the circumstances via a screen message.
    • The clan that decreases Nurka’s HP first as well as clans new to the siege can be checked through the screen message. The participating clan names will not be displayed.
  • Clans who earn the right to obtain the clan hall can choose whether or not to accept it through ‘Brakel the Chooser’.
    • In instances where the clan currently residing in the hall defeats Nurka first or the winning clan decides not to inhabit the clan hall, the clan hall will be occupied by NPC’s for two weeks.
  • The maximum duration for the instance dungeon is 1 hour and the instance will be deleted if this time is exceeded.

Fortress of the Dead

  • The instance dungeon for participating in this clan hall battle can be entered on the Thursday of the relevant week from 9 to 10 p.m. A maximum of 14 players can enter.
  • The instance dungeon can be accessed via ‘Jacquard’ who can be encountered in the following ways:
    • Using the ‘Summon Jacquard’ skill available to the clan leader
    • Using the messenger NPC near the clan hall
  • The clan that kills ‘Giselle von Hellmann’, ‘Alfred von Hellmann’, and ‘Lidia von Hellmann’ in order the most quickly wins the right to the clan hall.
  • Clans participating in the clan hall battle can check the status of the battle via a screen message.
    • The clan that decreases Lidia von Hellmann’s HP first as well as clans new to the siege can be checked through the screen message. The participating clan names will not be displayed.
  • There are many elements of luck in the battle for Fortress of the Dead so this could lead to advantage or disadvantages for the participating clans.
  • Clans who earn the right to obtain the clan hall can choose whether or not to accept it through ‘Jacquard the Chooser’.
    • In instances where the clan currently residing in the hall wins or the winning clan decides not to inhabit the clan hall, the clan hall will be occupied by NPC’s for two weeks.
  • The maximum duration for the instance dungeon is 1 hour and players will be ejected from the instance if this time is exceeded.
Devastated Castle
  • The instance dungeon for participating in the clan hall battle can be entered on the Friday of the relevant week from 9 to 10 p.m. A maximum of 14 players can enter.
  • The instance dungeon can be accessed via ‘Loken’ who can be encountered in the following ways:
    • Using the ‘Summon Loken’ skill available to the clan leader
    • Using the messenger NPC near the clan hall
  • The clan that occupies the three bases and kills ‘Gustav’ the quickest earns the right to the clan hall.
  • The ‘Siege Scroll’ needed for the siege of the three bases is dropped randomly by subordinate monsters.
  • After the sieged moving base reaches the castle walls on the opposite side, it reverts to an unoccupied status.
    • In order to keep the base from reaching the other side, participants in the siege must use various skills to impede its movement.
  • The occupied strike base reverts to unoccupied status once its HP is recovered 100%.
    • The HP recovers quickly, so participants in the siege must continually attack it to prevent this.
  • The Devastated Throne base reverts to unoccupied status 3 minutes after being conquered.
    • The change to unoccupied status cannot be interrupted or prevented.
  • Clans participating in the battle can check the siege status via screen messages.
    • The screen message shows the clans to first occupy each base, the clan that kills Gustav first, and clans new to the siege. The participating clan names are not displayed.
  • Clans who earn the right to obtain the hall can choose whether or not to accept it through ‘Loken the Chooser’.
    • In instances where the clan currently residing in the hall defeats Nurka first or the winning clan decides not to inhabit the clan hall, the clan hall will be occupied by NPC’s for two weeks.
  • The maximum duration for the instance dungeon is 1 hour and players will be ejected from the instance if this time is exceeded.

Clan Requests and Dwarf Guilds


In order to combat darkness, the King of Aden Amadeo Cadmus is raising money to fund the military and mercenary groups and requested the help of the Dwarf Elder Council to achieve this end. The clan request process is a policy instituted by the Iron Gate Guild to give strength and power to smaller clans per the Dwarf Elder Council’s instructions.
  • There are three kinds of requests available from the Dwarf Guild. The clan leader can register, change, and abandon requests through the ‘Clan Request Manager’ at each village.
  • You cannot apply for requests if you are not affiliated with a clan.
  • If there are unfinished steps for a request in progress, the clan cannot apply for another request at the same time.
  • If the request is changed through the Clan Request Manager, all clan request points accumulated during the current request are reset.
  • Members of a clan who register for a request can accumulate personal request points by hunting.
    • There is a maximum limit of 100 personal request points. Points in excess of this amount are not accumulated.
  • Personal request points that can be gained from hunting are accumulated at a rate equal to the XP penalty according to level.
  • Personal request points are not accumulated when there is a difference in level between the player and the hunted monsters of 11 or more. A penalty is applied to the personal request point accumulation rate when the hunted monsters are 3~10 levels below the player.
  • Personal request points can be gained from monsters in the Lineage 2 world.
    • Personal request points cannot be acquired from field or instance dungeon raid boss monsters.
  • The personal request point accumulation rate differs when hunting alone, in a party, or in a Command Channel.
  • Personal request points are calculated continuously and cannot be gained once the clan request point total reaches the maximum.
  • Clan request points are applied differently according to clan level.
  • Clan request points can be accumulated individually after the clan request points are reset.
  • Once the clan reputation points reach the maximum, the request becomes available and can be received via the Clan Request Manager.
    • When the maximum is reached, a screen message and notification window appear notifying the clan members that the goal has been reached and the request can be received.
  • Items for fulfilling the request can be obtained using the [Receive Request] button.
  • Request items can be received for 7 or 14 players.
  • Request items have a 24 hour time limit and can be used by members of a clan that has registered for a request.
  • Request items cannot be used in instance dungeons or in areas where summoning is prohibited.
  • Only clan members are authorized to receive requests. Academy apprentices may not receive requests but are allowed to participate.
  • If the request items are used, a Request Coordinator NPC appears that allows the request to be started.
  • The request manager‘s [Summon Clan Member] button can summon clan members to help complete the request.
    • A summoning message appears for all clan members in a pop up window. Clan members are summoned in the order they click the [OK] button.
    • The pop-up message appears for clan members in instance dungeons or areas where summoning is restricted.
    • If clan members accept the summons, they are transported to an instance dungeon to carry out the request. Upon completion, they return to the original spot.
  • The request NPC disappears and the request begins when the request manager’s [Start Request] button is selected
  • The form of the request varies according to the applying request guild.
  • When the request is carried out, the reward differs according to level.
  • The Guild Request Badges acquired through requests can be exchanged for various items through the request manager or applied towards clan level development via the Grand Master at each village.
  • Changed the [End War] button in the clan window to [Request Info].
  • Changed the total clan request points for each clan level
    • Although the point level was higher before the change, requests can only be received once.
    • After receiving a request, the clan request points reset to 0.

  • Changed part of the UI related to clan requests
  • Added buttons to check/change the request information in the clan action window.
  • Changed part of the ‘Clan Request Coordinator’ NPC’s menu.
    • The [Start Request] button is no longer visible before moving to the mission area.
    • The [Summon Clan Member] button is no longer visible after moving to the mission area.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a problem in which the resurrection XP recovery rate was listed incorrectly in the menu of the dialog windows when talking to the ‘Chamberlain of Light’ or ‘Chamberlain of Darkness’ who appear at each castle.
  • When a clan battle is proclaimed or ended, the problem of the enemy clan members’ pets and servitors not changing their battle marks to real-time has been corrected.
  • Fixed a problem where east/west midair passage and exterior doors to Aden Castle would open when siege warfare ended.
  • Fixed a problem in which the resurrection XP recovery rate was listed incorrectly in the menu of the dialog windows when talking to the ‘Chamberlain of Light’ or ‘Chamberlain of Darkness’ who appear at each castle.

  • The following changes have been implemented as in accordance with the new sub-class quests:
  • In accordance with the new sub-class quest ‘The Red Thread of Destiny’, changed the sub-class quest criteria to level 85 and above awakened characters.
  • Quests currently being undertaken can be finalized through the News Informer with the following criteria:
    • If the Fate’s Whisper quest has been undertaken but not completed, the quest will be completed and 8 Dimensional Diamonds will be given in place of the Star of Destiny item.
    • If the Fate’s Whisper quest has been completed and the character is in possession of a Star of Destiny, this will be deleted and replaced with 8 Dimensional Diamonds.
    • If a character below level 85 or 85 and above but not awakened is on the last step of the ‘Mimir’s Elixir’ or ‘Seeds of Chaos’ quests, the quest can be completed but a new sub class cannot be selected.
    • If a level 85 and above awakened character is on the last step of ‘Mimir’s Elixir’ or ‘Seeds of Chaos’, they can receive the quest award as well as choose a new sub class.
    • If a character below level 85 who has completed the quest achieves level 85 and becomes awakened, they can choose a new sub class via the News Informer.

  • Sometimes, when completing the “Highest Quality Petra” and “The Need for Petra” quests, the problem of the quests not being removed from the journal or not receiving the reward properly has been corrected.
  • During the “Duty of the Survivor” quest, if you speak with Vollodos while having acquired all of just one quest item, the problem of incorrect content being displayed has been corrected.
  • The problem of characters who were in the process of delivering B-grade items before the change in content for the “Fate’s Whisper” quest not being able to complete the quest normally has been corrected.

  • The problem of when Tauti’s Bracelet or Refined Tauti’s Bracelet is equipped, the inventory upper item icon and passive skill icon not being aligned has been corrected.
  • The problem of a clan participating in a large-scale battle such as a siege or fortress battle being able to use the My Teleport bookmark has been corrected.
  • The number of “Tauti’s Fragments” needed to craft a Tauti weapon has been changed to 10.
  • The enchant effect for a weapon bestowed with an augmentation option has been changed to be identical to the enchant effect of the item without an augmentation option.
  • The problem of not being able to use the “Weapon Attribute Change Crystal (R99-grade) on Dark and Bloody Amaranthine weapons has been changed.
  • When using the following Unidentified items, the problem of not being able to acquire normal/binding items in their sealed state has been corrected.

Bug Fixes

  • Moved the replace player / system / find party UI so as to no longer overlap with the Skill Casting Bar.
  • Added a function to easily change the quality in the video settings.
  • Separated the “Game” tab contents into “Communication” and “Graphic Settings” tabs.
  • Fixed the wording of PC states on the hotkey page
    • 'Flying State' -> 'Airship'
    • 'Transform State' -> 'Flying Transformation State'
  • Optimized the quality of awakened class effects when the effect quality is set to “Low”.
  • When a PC who is above level 97 is resurrected, the displayed damage text XP amount appearing as a number has been corrected.
  • The problem where in the Preferences menu, if you select “Decline Trades” then open the menu again, the check not appearing, has been corrected.
  • The pop-up screen in the game containing the button [No] has been changed to [No]. (There was a spelling error in the Korean.)
  • Fixed a problem with the character not being displayed when the display limit stage is changed in Lower Detail mode.
  • Removed the special characters that appear mistakenly on the loading screen as useful information.
  • Changed the ‘Display Party Members’ item in the radar window to ‘Hide Party Members’.

  • Fixed a problem where the enabled ‘Use GPU’ option would not be applied upon restarting the client.
  • Fixed the problem where the [Turn On/Off the Status Information] button in the Social Action window did not function.
  • Fixed the problem in which the [Turn On/Off the Status Information] command and option in the UI settings were not linked to one another.
  • Fixed a problem where the Soulshot (R-Grade) usage amount appeared incorrectly.
  • Deleted the Blessed Spiritshot usage from the general section of the Museum Statistics.
  • Changes have been made so that the mailbox can be opened and the contents can be checked while outside a peace zone. But, attached items can only be received while in a peace zone.
  • The problem of not being able to search in the bulletin menu tab has been corrected.
  • When re-connecting in some areas of the Town of Gludio, the problem of connecting inside a structure has been corrected.
  • The museum statistics for all statues and monuments of each village and castle have been deleted.
  • When the “Auto data upon login” function is initiated, the problem of the data not transferring automatically upon connection has been corrected.
  • The problem of not being able to receive the teleport fee discount at certain core times has been corrected.
